My PS told me to manage for at least 2 days and more if I possibly could. I actually managed 4 days before back pain drove me to discard the extra pillows. I then slept on my back with just one pillow for about another week, but I wasn't sleeping properly like that - so after that I went to sleeping in my favoured foetal side position and found that I was OK - provided I wore a bra.

Oh yes, I remember that!!!! I managed a week before I gave into my back pain, having said that when I spoke to my nurse she said I didn't really need to be upright, just as long as my head and shoulders were raised...... shrug

I slept upright for quite a long time.. Maybe 2-3 weeks and then took pillows out one by one. It depends on your body and your boobs, of course, but I despised the pain on my upper bottom!! Awful!! I uesd to wake up at 5am becuase of the pain... I almost forgot it now though..

It's been 3 months now and they are totally mine!
