Re: How long sleeping on my back
Hey I saw my surgeon on day 5 and he said if i'm able to sleep on my side then I can, but to be honest I couldn't! So what i did was put a couple of pillows down the side so i kind of laid on my side but lent my back on the pillows if that makes sense!? But even now i can't get totally comfortable on my side yet.... your body will let u know what u can and cant do!x

Hi Rosey. I was able to sleep on my side comfortably from day 8/10. Good luck. That first night on your side is bliss x

Re: How long sleeping on my back
Im still waiting to have a proper sleep on my side. Everytime I attemt it I wake up in pain. I guess it's better than before cause I could'nt do it at all in the begining.
Still not getting that 100% full sleep in any position yet and I still cant change position as I please...if that makes any sense.

Re: How long sleeping on my back
I'm 3 weeks post op on Monday and I have been sleeping on my side for the past 3 days! I agree with s4, your body will totally let you know when you can. First few times I tried it was painful and then one night I felt nothing, it was comfy.
I still panic that I wake in pain but morning boob is fastly subsiding, woohoooo!

Re: How long sleeping on my back
I slept on my side from about day 10, and just this past week have been able to sleep comfortably on my front. I agree, sleeping on your back is the worst! xxx

Thanks ladies, I tried it last night and I was fine, I was more worried about dislodging my implant!!!!! I have woken up feeling much better and no back pain.

Re: How long sleeping on my back
This is suchhhh a horrible thing...
I was easing onto my side at around 6 days. I think around day 8/9 I could officially sleep properly on my side. This is only on my right though as my left is taking a little longer to recover and doenst feel so nice...
I think they generally say from around a week onwards and when you feel comfortable.

Re: How long sleeping on my back
I'm not quite there yet, still suffering with a bit of morning boob too! I'm thinking next week maybe I'll be able to, I started snuggling up to my boyfriend over the weekend which was the closest I've been to being on my side since the op, progress.. Slowly but surely!
