sleeping on your back
... and as amanda started it on the topic of sleeping, how long do you have to sleep belly up? I would still feel uncomfortable sleeping on my stomach but I really miss sleeping on my side!

Re: sleeping on your back
My ps said sleep upright and slightly raised for 2 weeks to help swelling go down, plus it did help with the dreaded morning boob! I started turning on my side slightly at 3 weeks as it felt comfortable to but the boobie would ache in the morning if i didnt put a little pillow under it for support x

hi hunni
i have been sleeping on my side for around 1 week now, it started with just a few hours sleeping on my side as i became sore in the middle of the night. im totally fine now tho.
so i would advise sleep belly up until at least two wks if you can hun.
hugs

Re: sleeping on your back
thanks girls, my swelling has gone down a lot already but I do feel a little bruised still and I am more achey in the morning... ok then, I guess V pillow it is for a little longer!!! at least it seems to work in making me stay in the same position, normally I would toss and turn all night!

Re: sleeping on your back
I thought mine had gone down early but after 2 weeks you really notice a change, you will still have alot especially as you had no drains too, it takes 3-6 weeks for it to go completely hun, i was quite glad as my boobs looked huge! x

Re: sleeping on your back
Dont worry hun, i think with unders they get smaller due to swelling going down then they fill out from the fluffing and get bigger again! So its win-win! Mine have definately gotten much fuller since 1 month po they feel so big when im feeling myself up! xxx
Re: sleeping on your back
you must be right nads, especially the side swelling, as I have 32 back sports bras but I am still using a bra extension for comfort (they do close without but feel too tight) while normally I would fasten them at the tightest point!
