Re: incisions are itchy!!
hiya, not sure what advice to offer here sweet cos dont want to make things worse for you. I know you cant put your bio-oil on yet (or at least that was what I was told by my PS). Maybe an ice-pack to take your mind off it?
I always tell my kids that if a cut/scab is itchy its a good sign that things are healing well underneath so hopefully this is the same?
Hope someone else comes on and tells you something more useful, just didnt want to read and run. xx

I do believe that the itchiness is a sign of healing, but if you do think it gets unbearable then maybe ring your clinic. I know mine were so itchy and they have healed great.

Hiya
Mine are slightly itchy I would class it as a sign of healing, my swelling has gone right down today as well and I had my first nights sleep last night which was amazing .....when are you booked to see the nurse ? I am booked for the 9th .

Ooh mine itched so much they drove me mad!!!! I had to wear the tape on the scars for a good few weeks after and i just felt like ripping them off. I was told by the nurse that it's a good sign and means they are healing well. Soooo irritating though. Yep I agree with sparkyleeds, try not to itch them. It doesn't last long hun xxx

Re: incisions are itchy!!
The tape thing made it a whole lot worse i think and for the time frame we had to keep it on (4 weeks) was horrible. Its a very good sign of healing. Although i know its so irratating.

Re: incisions are itchy!!
The tape definitely made it worse. I think it did actually irritate the incisions. When I had the tape removed I had like littles sores, even around the incisions. They soon went very quickly after though and the itchiness instantly felt better! xxx
