Semi-serious hoovering warning ladies :D
I'm two and a half months post ba and recovering great i think .... even mentioned it the other day about how well recovered I am feeling so that any newbies might feel less scared about how long its uncomfortable for.
Anyway ... just wanted to give you pre or new ba ladies a little word of advice - hoovering really chuffs this up! We had a party for New Years Eve and the house was a bomb site in the morning as youd expect so me and DF did some serious clearing up ... there was party popper bits flickin everwhere. I have/had been being really careful with the hoovering but think i overdid it, Ive been really sore and feel like Ive stepped back a good few weeks today I actually slept in my sports bra last night cos I was scared Id done SOMETHING and Ive been a proper mardy all day today.
So just wanted to say to you - dont make that mistake I did - even if everything else feels ok. I've even been doing light upper body stuff at the gym in the last couple of weeks. It must be something about that hoovering action ... or well a couple of hours hoovering action anyway!!!
Am sure I'll be fine again tomorrow - fingers crossed.

Re: Semi-serious hoovering warning ladies :D
thanks for the warning hun!
my son was sick all over his bedroom floor the other day and i was on my hands and knees trying to clean it up - that killed me!
i have been wondering about light hoovering to her DH but will def give it a miss now. i really feel it when i do too much. just got to make sure to take it easy and gradually build up to more and more!
hope you're better soon hun - was your party good?
xx

Oh bugger! Dunno on that one then sweet - maybe you'll be ok (I worry for your bruisedy bits tho)...
Im guessin these houses wouldnt have had a new years party in them the night before tho so hopefully not be a sh*t tip and in need of hours of hard hoovering?!?
just be gentle with yourself.
Oh and annaliese is right - I did do some dancing (some lmfao shuffling - criiiinnnnnggggeeeee) and also ... Im ashamed to admit this cos it makes me sound a bit of a thoughtless **naughty word** really .... when I was cleaning up I wasnt wearing a bra cos I was doin it in me jarmies - oooops - sorry ladies
feelin ok tho now anyway, serves me right for being a berk. xx

is d*ck a rude word then? could have been worse - I could have called myself a thoughtless t**t and then there would have been alarms ringing

My god after reading this I'm suprised I didn't bust both implants!!! I'm an absolute fidget always have been!! I was hoovering the day after surgery and doing all my usual gym routines (upper and lower body) the week after :S
Looking back I definately would have chilled out a bit more but if anyone's really working themselves up about over exerting I think it all depends how you feel!!

ah haaa - i thought so, thats why i said boobie cover - it looks like a very lovely little babydoll? Your S will need a week off work if you carry on sweetie ... you'll wear the poor lad out
Sorry about making you panic the other day - im such a tard arnt I ?!?! fancy not thinkin about wearing a bra to clean up ... i wear two shock absorber types at the gym and my supportive running tops - but nut job me thought ok to do hours of hoovering with NO support. Serves me right.
Hope you dint get in trouble for cancelling your jobs. Also, somethin worth mentioning - ahhhmmmm - im older than you chick so you would probably recover better ?

Re: Semi-serious hoovering warning ladies :D
No problem whatsoever. I am so glad I didnt go. It was my first day without s here. Im so sore ribbs are fat and puffy again!!!
I did enjoy being mum again though even if I did go extream mum and over do it.
S was so sweet, ya know men always make out that they understand a mothers role? Well the other day I asked him if he had enjoyed his time off (he has been dream daddy and somehow got an even stronger bond with the kids) he replied with a enthusiastic yes but also a sigh and added I take my hat off to you girl you have your work cut out I am soooo tired!!!!!
I didnt add that was without shopping, dusting, bathrooms and laundry!! xx
