That does help alot. Thanks ladies. Don't understand why the clinic aren't telling me Macom. They keep saying, no you don't need to spend all that money just go to asda. Now to track down the lady on here who had a small Macom for sale x x

Re: Which are the best bras from op date to 6 weeks
Hiya,
I am a Z bra fan...i loved mine!!! It was what my PS recommended. I did buy a few adsa ones (I was in a 34D then) but they rubbed on my scars so bad i hated them. Z bra was like heaven to wear.
I did have a few M&S ones too but they also rubbed scars. The Z bra band is thicker & sits lower than asda etc. Hence it got washed & worn way more. EVen though it the wrong size now for me i still wear it to bed x

misf1 wrote:If you are having unders you may be quite small at first even with swelling. So its best to have them a little smaller in the cup than you think you will end up. If you go up a band size you need to come down a cup size. Plus you are used to a 34 band so with swelling I'd be tempted to get a 36band for comfort. So a 36dd and a 34e may be ok for straight after your op. As the swelling goes you can get fitted properly and get a proper fit. The sports bras are quite stretchy so you should have some give in them.steph999 wrote:Oh thats exciting!!!! didn't realise our stats were so similar! I'd be so happy with an E!!! Since I'm having 380's I might go for a 34 F.... Thank you!!!!! I always wear a 34 now... but I think we both should probably wear a 32 xxx
Misf1...... If i buy a 34 and a bra extender will this be ok or should I stick with a 36?

i'd have thought so, I'm going got get a asda 'post surgery bra' because thats what Mr Kuna said, failed to mention size though so going to get a 36/34 DD/E depending on whether a bra extedner will work, then a couple of tesco high impact ones and or medium impact. Will probably buy a selection and keep the reciepts.
Would quite like a macom but not found any bargains and i'm trying to spend sparingly....

I bought a Macom medium and a sports bra from BHS size 34f.took both to the hospital and didn't end up wearing either of them! then 2days later put my 4quid 1 on from BHS and never wore my Macom! Sent it back and got a full refund xx
U best off sticking to the sports bras that don't cost u a bomb hunni xx

Medical Z Bra
Hi
I am still in the early stages of considering surgery but my friend had hers done on Harley Street by one of the UK's top breast augmentation surgeons. They all recommend the Medical Z bra sold by less bounce and treasure chest, they come in at £45! I know it sounds expensive but she swears by it so too does her surgeon!

Hi Aurora,
Do you think that these two will be ok? One is a 34f and the other a 36f, but i'm going to change it for a 36e i think. Please take a look and tell me what you think. I am waiting until after i have it done to buy a macom, as i'm on a bit of a budget but had m&s vouchers at the perfect time! Thanks in advance.

The second one is definitely ok as it is basically a shock absorber copy. I tried one on the other day but the 34F band is too big and the 32F the cup is too small so can't wear :-(
The first one looks good as well but I don't have any experience of that one.
I am currently living in this one during the day as they do it in a 32FF:

You are pretty much the same stats as me (a little taller and lighter) so if you are having 525s I would guess you will be easily filling a 34F. I just bought bra extenders (£2 on eBay) rather than a 36 band.
MaCom wise - the small is a little loose on the band for me but because of the size of my boobs now I think the xsmall would compress them too much.

I didn't feel supported enough in my MaCom to wear it to walk around when I was first done. I do wear it at night tho, definitely the most comfortable to sleep in
