What bras to wear 3 weeks PO?!
Hi girls!
I'm three weeks post-op and a little unsure as to the bras I should be wearing. I live in Thailand and got mine done here. I know that everyone says to go with what your individual PS suggests. My doctor speaks very good English and is a competent surgeon, but he is a bit too chilled out for my liking and doesn't give me any real guidance as to what I should/shouldn't be doing.
I had some small hemotomas show up a few days after surgery, and he did bsuggest that I begin wearing underwire bras to keep those contained. They are largely absorbed now (just a tiny bit of swelling remains under my right boob). He seemed to indicate that I should keep bgoing with normal bras. Is it ok to be weaing underwire bras from right after surgery onward? My scars are in my armpits, so I'm not worried about those. But, I don't want to inhibit or delay my boobs from dropping.
Can anyone provide some guidance?!?
Thanks!
xoxo

Hi hun, well i was told by PS high impact sport bras that are non wired and give your boobs good support. I know a lots of PS may suggest something different, but i know the girls on here are all in sports bras for 6 weeks post op 24/7. xx

I too was told sportsbras (I'm doing a medium impact one at the moment) I can't imagine having an underwire bra on this soon, but if you're being directed to wear them to stop hematomas, I'd follow your PS's advice...
good luck to you chica!
