Aw sweety xx sending you
What about trying some caplpol?? This might help take the edge off xx
What painkillers you got?? Are you on antibiotics as well?? Sometimes they can make you sick especially on an empty stomach xx
You need to keep drinking water to flush all the GA out of your system and try to eat something healthy xx Keep warm and rest xx try making a little nest on the settee and get everything you need around you xx
You should feel a little better each day xx if you don't there might be an underlying issue? hopefully not though xx
Cold and hot packs help as well xx
Soup and TLC work wonders xx

Re: Hellp! Pain :-( ......
Thank you so much! I've tried calpol and managed to keep it down but I probably didn't take enough. I've had antibiotics through my drip so havnt got to take these now. I was given tramadol which I think are whats making me sick so I've stopped these too! I'm just so so sore and emotional that I can't pick my kids up! I just wish I knew how long itvwill be till I feel remotely normal?! I didn't think I'd struggle this bad but I must be one of the wossier ones :'-( xxx

Ah chick, you're not a wuss,it's really hard for some people! I've no advice about the pain sorry,as I was one of the lucky ones, but I have to say that by about day 7 I felt much better, and by 4 weeks all the pain had gone.
Try ice packs on your boobies too. Hope you feel better tomorrow, just remember that in just a few short weeks you'll have forgotten all the pain! x

Re: Hellp! Pain :-( ......
Tramadol can make some people sick hun, if it's bad then I would stop as well xx co drydamol makes me sick, but codeine is fine xx I would just dose right up on paracetemol / calpol xx Calpol has a cumulative effect in your system and builds up so make sure you take it regularly to get the maximum benefit xx
I'm day four and paracetemol seems to be working fine I have a couple of codeine at night just to help me sleep xx lol xx
You should feel a bit better tomorrow / Monday hun xx and then improve from then on xx Don't worry about not being able to pick your kids up for a few weeks xx they won't even remember and it won't be forever xx just a little blip till you recover xx you don't want to damage your incisions or anything xx just take it easy and it will soon pass xx
The GA makes you feel a bit funny too xx So make sure you drink lots and lots of water so that it flushes out xx It's ever so common for people to feel a bit teary and blue after surgery and a GA xx
Try to relax and give your body a chance xx You've just had major surgery remember xx

Re: Hellp! Pain :-( ......
Bless you hunni - I was exactly the same as you. I was sick and was in soo much pain!!! The lack of sleep, pain and sickness was horrid.
But trust me it does get easier and by about day 4 I was back in the land of the living and feelin a bit better. Won't be long - I was regrettin it so much, I thought why have I done this to myself. But now it was the best thing I ever did. I have forgotten the pain and am loving havin boobies!! hehe
Will be worth it I promise!!
Sending you hugs xxxx

Re: Hellp! Pain :-( ......
Sorry your feeling bad !!I was in quite a lot of pain for at least a week, had unders abit longer to recover than overs, put some frozen peas wrapped in a t towel on your boobs for 20 mins on 20 mins off ,they work wonders!!!Also i cameoff the cocodamol/paracetamol after 4 days as they spaced me out ,started taking ibuprofen for swelling and paracetamolDo take it easy ,no housework, running after the kiddies or making meals, you need rest to heal!Im week 3 now and still abit sore but much better only just hovered the house first time in 3 weeks! Surgeon said i need to give it another week before i take my poor dog for a run (shes a puller) so feel very guilty about that ,but she seems to be happy curled up on the sofa with me! I hope you feel better soon !xxx

Ahh thx again! It's so reassuring! I just jeep getting emotional that I can't hold my kids, and if I couldnt do it on Christmas day id be devastated! I should have really thought about this before but thought that I'd heal ok as I've experienced child birth and can't be as bad as that! Lol xx
