rippling ???
hey everyone.. i keep on wondering.. when does rippling start to show if you are gonna get rippling.. i am a bit worried.. because i hate it and i kept reading about it and my doctor only uses textured implants which mostly causes rippling and does not use the soft silicon cuz of capsular contraction.. i really wanted the soft ones.. but he told me he will avoid rippling.. me and my best friends both did the breast augmentation with the same doctor.. i did it a month after.. and now she is 2 months post op.. and she was bending on the sink to get something and was shocked like crazy to c a huge line of rippling that showed.. i am so worried since we have the same doctor.. how could he have not prevented it with her since he told me we can prevent it when i told him my worries.. i wanna know if you have it when will it start showing.... any ideas anyone.. i wouldnt want any rippling... i wish i put the soft implants ...

Re: rippling ???
It will depend on how much breast tissue to cover the implants, you also had unders which should prevent the rippling on the top half of the implant. In extreme cases you will see the rippling and in most cases you will only feel it slightly. If you were going to get rippling you can get it more with the softer implants as they crease and move with your body. So if you had the soft smooth shell you would be more likely to get rippling than with the more form stable textured implants. So it looks like your surgeon made the right choice of implants for you. The firmer they are the less chance of rippling, and the textured surface will help prevent CC
Re: rippling ???
Also you would need to wait for your boobs to soften and move about normally, thats when any signs of rippling will show themselves.
Re: rippling ???
ok.. but anyways she has under the muscles.. and textured implants.. exactly like me ...
i kept on reading that the softer ones are the ones that doesnt cause rippling.. everywhere.. i hope they are wrong and you are right !!

Re: rippling ???
any implant CAN ripple, it's a matter of if you have enough breast tissue to hide the implant. If you've seen an implant out of a body (I don't know if your doctor showed you one to feel prior to the op) all around the seams on the edge of the implant, there's a bit of rippling.
Your best friend may have thinner skin than you, or less tissue in the breast, and that would make hers show where yours won't. At the most, I really wouldn't worry about this yet, as misf says, you have to give it a few months before you'll know how the implant is going to sit in YOUR body
