Thank you! Had a great sleep! Nurse gave me a couple of sleeping tabs! Woke up in a bit of discomfort as the pain killers had worn off but nothing unbearable at all! I'm really surprised as I thought I'd be in much worse pain but I feel great! Benefits of having overs I guess! Nurse had a look and a feel and said there's not much swelling so hopefully won't lose too much size as they go down! She also commented on how natural they look so I'm more than happy with that! So far I LOVE them! Praying they don't change too much! Could do with them softening a bit though... Must be patient! They're not even a day old yet lol!

Glad your doing well and your happy with your new additions!! Any idea when your getting discharged? I hurt today dont know why, trying to stay off pain killers though, probably give in pretty soon!

When I arrived yesterday people were being discharged around 10am so I'm guessing that'll be the same for me! I've not long seen my surgeon and he stressed the importance of not doing ANYTHING for the next week, as I keep forgetting and feel quite capable I keep reaching out for things and lifting myself off the bed :-/ and he said I'd cause bleeding of I don't take it easy! Oops....
I'm guessing you'll be seeing your surgeon soon as its been 7days for you? I've got to go back in a week for my check up and have the sutures out....
I don't feel as big as I thought but am in proportion and also the bra I'm wearing is really tight and pulling everything together, he said I only have to wear it for 4weeks though not 6 like I thought! X

I started an empty 32C, added 525 high profiles and am currently a 34F (thanks steph) but really need to go down a band size so 32FF but can't find any non-wired sports bras in 32FF :-( so going to have to stick with 34F.

I found a gorgeous berlei non-wired sports bra in 32FF which felt amazing to put on but the straps are too mong even on the shortest setting :-(

Also for the girls who are in early days post op - I am day 6 now and the past two days I have been in a real grump for no reason, just felt like I had a little thundercloud over my head. I have woken up today feeling great so I think it was the GA clearing my system - just wanted to let you know in case you are feeling like it.

ahaha mong!

I've been pretty grumpy and tired the last two days.... but then I've dressed up my boobs and that made everything better.
I got up at 7.30am after sleeping shi*ty... was in such a horrible mood... went back for to 2 hour nap at 9am and feel fab!!!
Naps are the way forwards!

I'm the same about size s4mm1e mine dont seem huge or anything but I think their perfect for me because they look right,I can see what he meant by the bigger diameter being too big for my frame

I'm feeling bit down today... Boobs r like rocks... Sore n tender.... And I can't do anything lol. I couldn't wait to do nothing an be waited on but I'm actually getting frustrated and bored now and tired but can't sleep! Full of moans this evening n it's only the second night haha...
Keep worrying about the healing of my rocks! I had an allergic reaction to my antibiotics so have had them changed now by my doctor, nothing major just made me extremely itchy all over!
Starjem I keep forgetting.... Did u have overs or unders?x

I was exactly the same s4mm1e. I kept getting really **naughty word** off and I was on my own for about 20 hours the day after which made things worse. Then my bf was bloody useless and I ended up doing everything which made me EVEN angrier!
It'll go away soon though hun, im still achey but I can look after myself now at least, you'll see improvement every day so just try and relax and REST. Much harder said than done if you ask me

It's def worth it in the end! My surgeon told me after 4 weeks of wearing this surgical bra I still can't wear underwired bras for 6mths!! Anyone know of anywhere that sell nice non-wired bras?!x

Im not finding anything extremely difficult. Just feeling really tired.

Havnt really slept. The hospital staff were nice until they changed shifts and the second lot were a bunch of idiots.

Mr Seno did an excellent job

I keep wondering if i should have went bigger. At the moment im wearing a 34DD sports bra. Im hoping to be a D cup after all the swelling has gone.

I think you should stay at least a D stargem! Espacially after the muscle relaxes and your drop and fluff etc. Glad your ok, hope you get some sleep tonight

I've got one of them Macom bras that fits all so I haven't a clue what size I am atm?! A friend of mine had 330 unders and she's a d/dd.... So I'm sure you'd be at least a D Hun. I'm hoping for DD/E but I've a feeling I'm gonna be a D too but either way they're nice for my frame just can't wait for them to settle and soften up! Don't know how long that'll take..... ?? X

From reading on here I think the whole process of softening and gettign to how they will stay can take between one month and one year depending on the person!
Hopefully come sooner rather than later for us!

Only day 2 and already I cant stand to have this surgical bra on one more minute.

Mr Seno looked me dead in the eyes and pointed his fat finger at me saying "make you keep this on and your sport bra for 4 weeks...you hear me"

For once im gonna do as im told. The look in his eyes was seriously convincing.

It was as if I was talking to my son, when I want him to know the consequences will be devastating if he doesnt listen.

Feeling miserable. Im tired and in a lot of pain...like is this really gonna be me for the next 4 weeks???

Anyways, been awake all night. Lets see if I can actually get some shut eye now.

Awwww no Stargem! I promise you'll get better!!!! I felt a lot better by day 4 and even did a full day at uni (including over a hour walking there and back) so hopefully you'll be the same, without the excess moving about hopefully!!

What bra have you got on??? I love my bra and hate taking it off, feels all safe and comfy. I think if its so uncomfortable you might need to change it.

What painkillers are you taking? I was on 2x paracetamol every 4 hours and 1x tramadol when I needed it (probably had 4-6 in total throughout)

Hope you manage to get some sleep huni

I've got sharp pain down the side of my left boob which is uncomfortable but I'm on co codamol and they're great!
My bra is annoying me too starjem... It's a 32 which fit fine b4 but I'm now wondering if I should have got a 34... or maybe it's just where it's pulling everything together quite tightly.
I tried measuring myself and think I'm either 32E or 34DD but not sure if I done it right! Every web site I've found has been different one told me I was 34C! Which I found hard to believe lol.

Starjem , day 3/4 was the worst for me then it improved everyday from there on. It's easy to feel miserable in a horrible bra but honestly ove the next couple of days they begin to start showing signs of feeling softer and being less alien. Hang on in there. I'm coming up to 3 weeks and they are beginning to feel like they've always been mine x
