Re: January Buddies
littlemiss sooo happy that everything is ok with the boobs, any more discomfort or is it fine?
Neglected mine a bit recently, not had a good squeeze or a look but they seem to be closer together!! yeyyy!! only 1 finger gap!
STARGEM IV JUST READ THIS NOW!!!!
Im starting to think mine will scar too, its over 2 weeks and their still scabs, so must have been deep. Mine were also covered up by ,my dressings so I didn't see them until day 10. I took some more photos last night, goin to keep taking them so I have evidence of how long they lasted and what they looked like etc.
Still no progress on finding out what they are.
I was thinking last night if it wasnt for this forum i'd have no idea whats happening with my boobs. Transform have told me sod all. I'd be sat thinking 'what have I done ive got alien boobs' because no one has mentioned dropping etc. or ANYTHING ELSE. It hasnt bothered me because iv found out off here but last night I got thinking and it really isnt on. I would have been so uninformed had I not found this site.
Stargem is it possible for you to take a picture of your mystery scar? Did they stitch it? Mine had no stitches in it so its formed scabs
Thanks everyone xxxxx

Re: January Buddies
Hi Steph im not too bad, hubby went back to work today so its back to normality again school run and housework!
My right that I was having the problems with is fine now but the left has decided to take over! Im getting a bit of pain in it but I think thats because Ive been using my left arm more trying to protect the right. My right scar is healing really nicely and the scabs have came off but the left is still yucky and a bit was stuck to my bra the other day.
They're both dropping and softning and my gap is closing but im not expcting too much as Ive always had quite a gap between them.
Hope your doing ok and you get to the bottom of your mystery lines.
Got to say I agree with you that if it wasnt for this forum and all the lovely ladies giving their stories and advice then I would know nothing!

For such a big company you'd expect better. I really like my pcc but she actually knows nothing about having a ba.

My surgeon is wonderful, but hes such a busy man he doesnt have time to explain things to you, I suppose thats the job of the pcc but mine didn't know much, or maybe I didn't know the right questions to ask. If Id found this site sooner I may have been a bit more clued up. No complaints otherwise though, Im really pleased with my boobs! xx

Re: January Buddies
Yep. Its just business for them but for us its our long term happiness.
Steph im gonna take a pic, but I might not be able to put it up as its going to be exposing my left breast...I think.
And no, its not stitched because its healed wide. Its pink in the middle. They left it open and covered it with tape.
Other than that, boobies look smashing. The right has dropped, the left is softer and tender but still high up.
I think im allergic to the new tape they put on me sunday. My skin is itching and burning. I want to tear it off so much. At this rate I think i'd be better off without it.

Re: January Buddies
I agree re the companies being useless with information - both me and Steph had Transform yet we were given different information - she got a fact sheet re arnica and I didn't etc - so if the same company doesn't have uniform information you have to wonder a bit!
This forum has been a god send, I would be a wreck without it!
Sorry I have been off the boards for a while, trying to get myself back to reality and sleeping lots!

Hi ladies. Havnt been on here for a while. Ive only just started to feel better and I didnt wanna keep moaning about the same old same old.
Still a bit achey, particularly in the morning.

Re: January Buddies
Oh Starjem! You're one day ahead of me so I know what you're feeling. I for one am happy for you to moan about the same old same old - that's what support is all about innit? Probably what you're moaning about is what others are feeling/have felt/will feel anyway.
Are your new additions feeling like part of the family yet? My left has made herself at home (apart from looking like snoopy's nose in profile), but my right is still in a mood and won't stop feeling either numb or sunburned under the nipple and a bit sore on the nipple The incision under the rightie aches like heck where my surgical bra touches it too.
We have a loooooong way to go yet but it'll be worth it come summer !!!

Re: January Buddies
yeah Sue, my right feels comfortable and hurts as i'd expect it to. however the left is still a little tense and the scar is painful. My skin on both feels tender.
Cant wait to see my PS to make sure its healing as it should.

Nice to hear from you again Stargem. I still have enough aches so that they don't feel my own so I'm sure your moans are similar to most of ours.

Re: January Buddies
Awww, thanks ladies
Everything looks normal Steph. Its just the left scar really hurts. Cant wear the band or sports bra for too long.
To look at the scars, they look very neat and clean. Obviously the pain has got to be coming from the inside and I guess thats what takes much longer to heal.
As Sue said, its a loooong way to go. Wish I had patients. I mean I can handle pain anywhere...just not my boobs.
Imagine, Ive had children. This should be a breeze.
