Hello Ladies wavey
Well this morning I spent a couple of joyous hours on public transport (with the great un-washed) traveling across London to meet the lovely Mr Stephen Hamilton at MyBreast!
And it was well worth the agony!! lol!!
He is really lovely, totally put me at ease, was really honest about complications and needing them re-done in 10-15 years etc.
If someone can put you at ease whilst you sit there with your boobs (or lack of) out whilst they measure them etc, then all is good!!!
I totally want him to fix me, but the dratted PCC totally put a downer of it all by telling me they wanted £4665 to do it, urgh!
So looks like I am now on a saving mission, worst case scenario I am thinking about putting it on the mortgage when we come to re-new it in 12 months nope Admittedly this sounds like a bloody age away, but god only knows how I will save that kind of amount anytime soon!
In the meantime I am keeping my fingers crossed for the lottery!! xxxxxx

Hey Georgiana, pleased to hear your 1st consultation went well. I am also from Essex/London area. I am going with Transform this Saturday.

I think you should try them out, the consultations are free and you can see as many surgeons you like until you are happy. I am paying £3695 daycase at Riverside hospital. I know they also offer finance options, but I'm not sure about interest rates etc...

Hope this helps :)

Hiya Holly!
Where abouts are you from? Riverside is ringing a bell with me, but I cant remember where it is?
I did have an appt with a pcc from Transform but had to cancel due to childcare issues!! Plus the fact that I had to see one first and not the surgeon put me off a bit, as its such a faff, lol!! xxx

I'm from Chingford... what about you?

Well Riverside is actually in Brentford (West London) my dad said its going to be a nightmare getting home on a Saturday afternoon, but Oh well :) and my mum has told him he is also going around Westfield while they wait, not sure his too impressed ha!!

Yes you do have to see a PCC 1st, I actually saw mine on my lunch break at New Cavendish St, as I work round the corner, and then saw Mr Meleagros at 6pm the same day... maybe you could arrange that, if there is a big space beween appointments, Oxford St is just round the corner ;)

I have to admit that having my consults directly with the ps everytime is super important for me. Mybreast is a bit more expensive though it wasn't as expensive as the first place I went to for a consult (it was private, not a company though).
The ps's I wanted to see both work at Mybreast, as you know I've already seen Withey, and am happy with him, and Hamilton was the other one. If you see anyone else there you don't need to pay more btw.
Did you ask ps if you could be a daycase since you'd be having overs and no lift? Your op sounds more straightforward it might be worth asking.
I hope your other consults go well, you might find another ps that you really like and you are comfortable with for less ££. It's also good to hear a few opinions to make sure you decide on what's best for you.
Who are you seeing next?

hey there, glad the consultation went well!

RE finance with Transform, I did this, I was an overnight stay as I live quite a long way away from Riverside, so the total was £3995. I paid £1000 up front and the rest is on monthly payments for the next year and interest free, which I thought was quite good. I was really impressed with the whole experience with them, especially my results! xx

We have re-mortgaged- taking extra for an extension- extension to both the house and myself :)
I never ended up seeing anyone at transform, but I did tell them I wanted to see a ps straight away rather than go through a Pcc and they agreed and offered appointments with surgeon in first instance. There's also THe Hospital Group who I am booked with that offer great price, and also MYA might be worth you looking at? I know they do free consults in Chelmsford?

Oh how exciting! I have my first consult with Stephen Hamilton tomorrow morning!! That does seem quite pricey, is there anything bumping up the cost for you? I will let you know how I get on, I'm 34a wanting full C cup so pretty similar xx

Hi Nepoly, that's the normal price at Mybreast. I know that a daycase is £400 less, depending on the individual case you could forego staying overnight. I'm having an uplift no implants, it will be £4900 with overnight stay so it's even more than a BA. If I wanted implants with my uplift would cost £4800/4850 or something like that.
