Well i thought its about time I posted a thread lol

Im on my final days countdown, this will be my last 7 days EVER with these boobies i have had all my life!! I cannot believe its finally got down to this stage, I never thought i would see this day. Im dreading going to work next friday as I can't see myself being able to concentrate, when im on the phone all day. I have horrible visions of either not waking up or feeling everything but not being able to move or say anything.

Ooo exciting times hun, you will be totally fine. Im actually jealous of you having a GA it was an amazing feeling going under.

I thought I would be totally beside myself with emotion but this weird calmness came over me. My belly went a little as I got on the bed and my surgeon had some quite dramatic opera music on but then I was out of it xxx

MelanieP- Im sticking with the 525's, i went to see my pcc on monday and confirmed them. Im going in as a night case as im a few hrs away, wont get my admission time until thursday.

How exciting, time will fly by this week i bet!! I'm sure you'll be fine with the anaesthetic hun, really don't stress about it, it's absolutely fine and they'll make sure you're well and truly knocked out :D

The excitement and nervousness is normal. I have to agree with previous post, GA is quite relaxing. Think at this time next week you'll have your new boobies! xxx

You'll be fine chick. That was my main fear too,of being awake but paralysed. But all I remember is saying "This bloody stuff isn't working,I'm awake!" and bam,I was gone.

So excited for you x

How exciting for you!! I think we all feel a bit nervous coming up to the big day, I know I do. I have two days to go and, like you, can't believe that these are my final days with my little boobies..... the end of life as we know it. But, on to bigger and better things, literally! lol.

Ooh how exciting hun! I was so so nervous about the GA but it was amazing! Just remember one blink and then nothing until I woke in recovery where I just felt like I was happy drunk talking jibberish! Lol. Nothing to worry about at all Hun & they are all so lovely. I told them I was terrified & they told me there was nothing to worry about, just to relax and let them take care of me. They were smiling & happy having a few jokes with me & really put me at ease.

you'll be amazed at how nice & easy it is..... And you'll have your fab new boobies so all worth it! yippeeee yahoo xxxx

Hiya hun. I worried about that too, but these GA doctors are very cleaver people their whole job is purely to make sure you are asleep at all times. No way your gonna wake/feel it at all:-) so excited for you. Xx

Hey babe! Honestly I was petrified of the whole thing I was in floods of tears when I arrived at the hosp and I really wanted go go home, I was so close to backing out through sheer terror, but I can honestly say it is breeze, i know it's easy to say once youve had it but really babe I wish I never got so worked up as I really wanted to be excited and excitement wasnt something I really felt on the day (exept a flicker or excitement after being marked up) Now I can say it's easy Hun and I would do it again with excitement. 7 days to go it has flown by! Good luck :))))) xxx

Hun, I feel exactly the same, I was thinking about that film "awake" the other day, if you haven't seen it, dont watch it lol....
