The Twins have arrived! :)

Well I did it, the op came and went on Friday...and man what an experience!

my friend went in before me - she had a reduction and lift....quite a lengthy op

then another girl before me - who came out of theatre screaming and crying about the pain - yelling that her boobs were too small (although she had a good 500cc implant??) WTF?

and then it was my turn!....Questions flowing through my mind...did I choose the right size?? is it too big or too small?! Again the doc asked what size...300! and no bigger than 325! I would like a small C please!

so anyway...in I go....chatting nervously to the theatre staff.....the anaeth says, Night night.....and then I hear my name....

Over already! quick and easy! as I get strolled into the recovery rooms I yell over to my mate "Boobies woohoooo!"

Its day 6 today and Im very happy. He ended up putting in a 335! and I seem to be a full C...too late now! Im feeling like a porn star actually - just wish they would go down already lol

I have a few questions to ask the ladies.

I had partial unders....it feels as if my pec muscles are contracting...my boobs go very hard every few minutes, is this normal?? I didnt experience alot of pain but I do sometimes get sharp pains at the cut area - under the boob.

it will be a long road to recovery - not as quick as I would like. Every time I take my sportsbra off to shower it feels like the silicone is gonna pop out lol.

when does the swelling start going down? at the moment I have madonna specials, lol. but hopefully they will drop sooner as I have had a child..

I find at night my chest feels so stretched and I kinda lose my breath now and again. I find that I struggle to eat in the evenings too - not sure why though...

Firstly congratulations! Everything you describe Is exactly the same way I'm feeling at 2 days post op! I too have been having muscle contractions, very strange. And the swelling, my word I'm enormous! Starting to panic I went too big, hoping it's just swelling otherwise I'm in trouble! Lol. Look a bit like a freak right now. Can't move my arm Muscles at all either.

well done Lola, congrats on the new additions! They look great and not too big! I have the exact same sports bra as you... snap!! hehe what size are you wearing at the moment? I had 355cc's and wish I went a bit bigger :(

thanks ladies, well at the moment my sportsbra is a 34C...I guess I feel like a porn star cause I never really wanted enormous boobs, just wanted them full again after my baby. they seem big but yet everyone who has seen me says it doesnt look big with a tshirt on - and that they suite me! so Im happy about that! They actually seem to be similar to my preggie boobs...

One thing I miss terribly, is sleeping on my stomach! this story of sleeping upright is killing me! its so uncomfortable! and my back aches! so Im looking forward to going back to normal again!

sorry I made a mistake, this is a 36C.. I was usually a 34, but seems I swelled up alot! so had to exchange it for a 36C...

Im ok with the size....I feel they are very big right now and would prefer them to go down a little but I suppose ill change my mind! lol...I think we will all wish we had gone a little bigger!what size are you now Sara?

there will be alot of swelling and it takes time for it to go fully down so you wont be as big as you are now if you think your too big :)

I am 3 days post op and had 380 unders, I am also feeling contractions in my breasts thay have also started to make some strange noises xx

The contractions/buzzing/twitching are completely a normal part of the healing process (I too had unders). But congratulations, I'm sure you feel like a new woman, are over the moon with new boobs and like some of us who are still in the middle of the healing process, cannot wait for the fluff and drop fairy to come! Congrats again girl!

just saw my last comment may be confusing - i meant "must be BECAUSE you're tiny" - your boobies look big LOL

Yes, they should subside within 2-3 weeks...maybe even 4, but for me it was around 3 weeks that my boobs stopped making 'noises.' lol.
