or do alot of people need the stitching actually taken out?

Re: do most people have dissolvable stitches with ba?
Hiya :) i had stitches on the outside that were removed after 2 weeks.. my surgeon said i also have stitches inside that are disolvable!!! i think i could feel them if i stretched, like a burning feeling in my nipple, but now thats pretty much gone, so guessing they have gone now. I think all implants can be squished into a small slit, but maybe huge implants would need a bigger opening x

Hiya
I've got stitches that have to be taken out but lots of people seem to have dissovable.
I don't know about more cc needing a bigger incision, i've never thought about it!! Wouldn't have thought there would be much of a difference though Not sure

Mine were dissolvable... didn't have any problems with them either, the first time I saw my scars they were just a perfect hairline... no sign of any stitches!
My incision length is actually quite long, about 5cm long I guess. My PS told me that incisions are longer when using the Brazilian implants compared with traditional implants... something to do with the furry coating, I guess... but even so, they aren't very noticeable, because they are so slender...

Mine had to be removed at 2 weeks. I had the "gummy bear" implants so they actually have a bigger incision then saline because they are already filled.

I had dissolvable but I still had to have the start of them taken out, think it was the knot or something, didn't hurt a bit though. :) xx

My surgeon used dissolvable stitches inside and then glue on the outside apparently. Still got the steri strips on as not allowed to remove them for 3 weeks so am waiting to see what they look like! xxx

Hey I has dissolvable and my scars are very thin and healed amazingly luckily my body didn't mind the stitches but that's not always the case xx

I am not sure. I assumed they were dissolvable. I am 5 days post op and am booked in to have check up a week Monday when I will be 2 weeks post op. Guess i'll find out then! That's the part i'm dreading, once I know the scars are healing well i'll be happy. Sometimes I feel like I am going to tear them open when I move. As for the scars my PS said they will be about 1 1/2 inches or so.

Re: do most people have dissolvable stitches with ba?
I would ask your P.S but I think most are dissovable, mine were and they were a right pain as my body takes forever to dissolve them so instead it rejects them to the surface of my skin and I had to have Knots and bits trimmed......had the same problem with my appendix when I was little but that got infected, I told my p.s about this but he said its makes no difference and thats what he uses............think some peoples bodys can take well over a year to break them down.
I oersonally hate dissolvable stitches and feel they aree a pointless invention!
