Re: Post op hair!
Not to sure as I am still post op but only until tomorrow. I think it will probably be a week or maybe a little longer going from what the other girls have said about washing hair.

Re: Post op hair!
Mine looks a greasy bush! Good job it's long and I can just tie it back. Gonna attempt a blow dry tomorrow though before I go back to work, can lift my arms up ok now. Can always do it in stages.
Anyway who's gonna be looking at me hair at work when I've got new titties! xx

Haha good point Fuzzy! :)
I'm also concerned about the hair thing, especially as mine is short so i can't get away with just pinning it back! I'm thinking a headband with a big bow or flower on will draw attention away from the messy hair :)

Re: Post op hair!
I washed mine the day after, hung over the side of the bath and since then I've washed, blow-dried and straightened it daily, just not over exerted!! Not that it makes me look any better as I still have two black eyes from the rhinoplasty!! I'm hoping they say it's ok for me to put a bit of make-up on when the stitches are out of my septum!!!

Re: Post op hair!
oooh jbird you were brave having both done together. i want a little help with my tum after four kids/four c sections but thought i should wait till one bit of me well healed - think i wish id got it all over with in one go. That said tho - especially in answer to this post - i dont think i would have been up to much styling my hair. Before i had the ba done (5 days) i promised myself i wouldnt faff about with my hair and makeup afterwards ... but i just couldnt not - i did try to leave it to dry naturally the first time i washed it but it did bugger all for my confidence so i just took it carefully.
As for the hair washing itself - thats a little more difficult - so i get darling fiance or my lovely mammy to wash it for me - while im sat in my small puddle of a bath.
Im definately feeling less creaky as the days go on. Think when i have the dressings reduced on Monday it will be easier still.

Thankyou sweeties!
I guess I'll leave it a good week or so before trying to attempt it, I might just buy a wig! My hair will be glad of the time off!

Re: Post op hair!
I was doing mine after 5 days but because of overusing my arm I had a few problems and then wasn't allowed to use my right arm until 7 weeks PO so couldnt do my hair :( I had to tie it back everyday and go to the hairdressers weekly to get a wash abe blow. So I'd take it easy huni or it could end up being ages before you can do it properly. I had unders.
