Tuberous breasts
Hi girls
I have slight tuberous breasts, one is a A Cup and the other B Cup... I wanted to see if anyone has ever had this problem??
I have a consultation soon and am worried about what they will say I'll need doing x I'm also worried about the cost, my consultation is with Transform
Does anyone relate to my issue
Thanks x

Re: Tuberous breasts
Lottie,
I had my consultation with Transform (Mr Persico), and i vaguely remeber him saying that i had slightly tuberous breasts, although I 've never noticed this myself and he didn't make a big deal of it. Infact to be honest he didnt really say much about it at all, so much so that I didn't ask any questions because it didn't seem relevant :S
I'm not sure whether it affects the size of implants you can go upto but I'm currently down for 410cc, pushing for 460cc on the day!

Re: Tuberous breasts
Yes I'm having a regular BA and septo-rhinoplasty on 17th :D Eeeeeekkkkk but oh how time is dragging!!!
I paid £7,360 for the duel-procedure but my nose job is £1,000 more than an average rhino-plasty as I'm having my septum repaired aswell!! I'll nip upstairs and get my notes in a sec and tell you how much just the BA was!!
And Haha that sounds so lazy that i cant be bothered getting off the coach immediatley!!

Re: Tuberous breasts
Hmmmm just checked my costs and it is actually calculated as both procedures into one cost so I'm not entirely sure how much the BA alone was :S
I think it was around 3995 though!!

Re: Tuberous breasts
I've read so many things on here with girls having tuberous breasts - you should do a quick topic search hun. But I think unless it's very severe, you can have a totally normal BA. I've also looked at this condition online, and the more severe they are the more difficult the op, but it looks as if they come out normal-looking!
Also, an assymetry is easily fixed by just using 2 different sized implants - and this happens ALL the time!!
good luck hun

Re: Tuberous breasts
I paid £4780, it takes longer than a standard BA (2hrs rather than around 50mins)
The surgeon needs to cut the band of tissue which is restricting the breast which causes its longer than normal shape and my surgeon did this through an areola incision. If the band isnt cut you end up having the tuberous shape just sitting on top of the implant.
My surgeon struggled with getting 375cc in mine but just got them in and he also went xtra high profile as Im not very wide plus this projection helps with the shape correction.
Im a little sore but its to be expected, they are looking a good shape already and iv just got to wait for them to drop and fluff to get the lower pole more in proportion, they are so much better than before though already x

Re: Tuberous breasts
I also had slightly tuberous breasts and had "normal" implants at no extra cost. My creases were altered though during the procedure.
There are many degrees of tuberous breasts and it takes a skilled surgeon to know what is appropriate so I went to see three surgeons for consultations before deciding, and for me all three said a straightforward ba was indicated, they differed on size opinions as do all!! -
They all also warned the breasts would take longer to settle - approx 4 months for my left side and 3 months for my right.
Go and see a few surgeons, particularly those who have experience with tuberous breasts to find out what is necessary for your breasts xx
