- plenty of magazines and a laptop/games as you could be waiting around for quite a while!

- sports bra

- p-jamas or nightshirt (button up front) - tho you get a sexy gown to wear, i just wore this and saved my nightshirt for when I got home.

- slippers to walk down to theatre in

- lady wipes, dry shampoo for next day (if overnight)

- a snack bar for after the op incase you don't get fed straight away

- something easy to travel home in. I wore a tracksuit with a zip up front.

- If you have a long journey home a couple of pillows for the journey

Think that's everything I needed xxx

Lip balm !! Slip on shoes or ugg type boots so you can just slide your feet in and I drank loads of water!! Even though you get jugs of the stuff I struggled to lift the jug and bottles would've been easier, the smaller ones obviously. electric toothbrush!! Godsend! and I preferred zip up sports bras if you can find any. Along with everything tracy2010 has said.

Throat lozenges. I didn't think to take them, and my throat was really sore after the op from the tube they put down it. I had to stop on the way home and get some, as it was doing my nut in!
