Nipple drama
Hi
This is a bit embarassing but ever since I've had my boobs done, I can't find any bras in which my nipples don't poke out the top! I know the cup and back size is correct because i have been measured professionally and i have tried all sorts of different bras (padded, non padded, balconettes, plunge) etc but nothing covers my nipples. Its embarassing because its noticeable through my clothes. I love my boobs now but i want to be able to wear bras and feel supported. I don't know what to do ? Any one had the same problem? I had my boobs done 3 months ago.
thanks

Re: Nipple drama
Hi Maisie,
The only thing I could suggest, since you've been professionally measured, is to maybe get a nice push up with padding of course, and if your nipples are still making their presence known, is to maybe get some nursing pads (they sell them pretty much in any grocery store or local market) to prevent breast milk leakage through bra and shirt. Maybe try placing those within your padded bra and see what the outcome of that is. Those pads are really not that bothersome, and they're soft...they would add an 'extra layer of protection' to prevent your nipples from showing through so much.

Re: Nipple drama
i have found it to be less of a problem when my bra straps are tighter because it holds the cup in place better but a lot of the bras i buy, you can only tightened the straps so much and there is also the issue of the straps digging into my shoulders. I will give the nursing pads a try, thanks :)

Re: Nipple drama
I'd go and get a few opinions....sounds to me like they have measured you wrong!! (too small) you never know - they aren't all experts and different ppl/places measure differently.
Go somewhere else to get measured, see what they say and if not the best thing you can do is try different sizes until you find the best fit for you.
Good luck

Re: Nipple drama
I got measured in three different places but i think a lot of it is the type of bra as well...balconette bras are a no go because they don't give me enough support. My boobs look quite round (i think because i virtually had no breast tissue before the op) and i don't think the shape helps me to find bras that fit well. I did try a D cup but it still didn't totally cover my nipples! I have found two bras which give better coverage than others i've tried so i'm not at a complete loss, it would just be nice to be able to wear whatever bra I want but everyone always says its hard to find a good bra!

Re: Nipple drama
What size implants did you have???
You should try some bigger bras, just in case you have been measured wrong. Even three places can do it badly if they are not specialised.

Re: Nipple drama
I had 280 and 310 cc, that should have taken me to a C cup. I did try a D cup bra and it did cover my nipples a little better but it didn't fit well around the rest of my boob because it was loose! xx

Re: Nipple drama
You had the exactly same as me. Although I have a smaller back. I am in a 30E bra and that just covers the nipples! I would definately try for bigger if I was you. Even if it is 32DD

Also - I tried DD first and it was loose inthe cup, when I got to the E they fit perfectly.

Re: Nipple drama
Maybe i'll try a DD bra then! I've always stuck with C cup bras because that what I was told I was, I've only been wearing proper bras since like August so I guess i just need to experiment with the size a bit more! Actually thinking about it, my boobs are always falling out of my C cup bra when i bend over/stretch at work so maybe i do need a D/DD cup for better support and coverage.
thanks :)
thanks :)

Let us know how you get on. If you go to a high street, different ranges fit different too so always try different sizes anyway. x

Re: Nipple drama
This bra does make them look bigger than a C cup because it pushes them up and together, I just like being able to actually get clevage now lol xx
