Drama Queen!

Oh my, what a night I had last night, I am such a drama queen! ha

Had a check up yesterday with my surgeon, got the all clear to go back to normal, wires in two weeks, can go back to gym but not do too much and can start to swim again in 2-3 weeks. Made me really happy :) He asked me how everything was and I said excellent...(OH got in a huff with me cos I have been worried about my righty as it has felt 'different') and I know I should have mentioned it!!

Left the hospital feeling good and went to do some wedding shopping, OH doing all of the bag carrying. Righty got tighter and tighter all day, by the time I got home it felt like the implant was floating around in the pocket, I convinced myself that the pocket was too big for my implant or it had split/bottomed out or ruptured. (I think the worst!)

OH convinced me to ring the ward as I was crying and getting myself in a right state. Rang them and as I had been in today they immediately ruled out infection, but as it was upsetting me so much she said to go down and see on call doctor. So we jumped in the car, got there in super quick time and I was seen within 10 minutes.

I knew in the back of my head that I was catastrophizing the whole situation and it wouldn't be anything bad. And I was right haha!!

It turns out I just have a lot of swelling in my righty and a lot of fluid sitting around it at the moment, causing it to feel like it's moving around so much and making it sometimes feel like its moving away from the pocket.

Doctor was actually really nice about it but I bet the second I walked out of the ward he will have been saying what a massive fanny I was! Just happy I went to see about it :)

Glad it wasnt anything to sinister, hopefully it will just sort itself out :) Defo not a Drama queen tho hun, better to get it checked than to just leave it hoping for the best & worrying xox

Glad my OH pushed me to ring as I would've just worried for the next three weeks instead haha I only think he made me go because he was so sick of me crying and being OTT xx

It's hard not to work yourself up about stuff like this. I'm a big worrier too! Glad to hear that it wasn't anything serious. Keep up the good healing and look forward to 2 weeks when you can get into some real bras! xx

Glad it was all ok! xx I think i have the same sort of feeling in my leftie inside at the bottom! Its really weird like you said it feels like the pockets too big and it sloshes around a bit! I go from thinking i must massage so i dont get CC to i mustn't massage so hard in case i get uniboob and bottoming out!!!! aggghh - roll on 6months!!!

I don't know what to do for the best! haha going to wait until I can massage my scars then massage the whole breast. I'm fair skinned and a little bit of a redhead so the sooner I can massage my scars the better, as I scar very red and angry :( xxx
