Strap for 3 months :0(
Hi Ladies,
Just had 7 week check with Mr Davison and I have to wear a strap for 3 months!!! to encourage left boob down. I've not worn one before, and judging by you ladies being tortured by these things I'm not looking forward to this. I guess better than a re-op. It better work.
Any advice on where to get one and how to cope....he said wear as much as possible

I have to wear mine for 3 months too, my ps gave me mine and is sending me a second one so I can wash one and still wear one,
I dont find it that uncomfy just a little annoying with clothes and showing through, but now I've got some shock absorber sports bras the strap fits alot better now and is mostly hidden
3 months will fly by I hope! Xx

Hey Hun I've had to wear my strap for 3 months due to my left not dropping I must say I hate it with a passion lol I went to see my surgeon on sun and he said I don't have to wear it anymore as he dosent think it will do much more if I keep on wearing it. So now pocket revision surgery is on the cards for me! Have you been told to massage by your surgeon? X

Ah babe, hopefully it won't bother you too much and luckily it's the cold season soon so you'll be able to cover it up with jumpers and cardies. Can't be much fun for the girls in the summer....
Fingers crossed you don't have any problems with it and lefty behaves and drops asap! xx

Re: Strap for 3 months :0(
Hi Ladies, sorry not been on for a while. The strap is tedious, and its really making my boob ache. My implant does not move at all. Im sure pocket not big enough for it to drop. There has been no change at all :0( The right one is perfect it is so frustrating. I wish I could just have surgery and start to recover again as I'm convinced this will be the outcome. Another girl on here had my surgeon and same thing happened. He didn't charge for reop. I'm trying to resist bringing my dec 21st appt forward.............what do you think???????

Hi Surfgirl,
I would pop back and see your PS to put your mind at rest. It could be the pocket has been made to tight so implant doesn't drop down sufficiently. I had to wear a strap PO for a while to encourage both implants to drop down - it worked but think they would have dropped anyway but the strap sped things up. Good luck xxxx
