The dreaded Strap !!!
Hey girls ....
I'm about 9 days Post BA, iv gotta tell you it's all been rather good apart from this strap ! I try my best to wear it religiously but it's awful , I feel rubbish with it on, everything hurts more and it's a constant pressure ! I don't have it too tight or anything but I just hate it , I always wear it to bed and most of the day but when it's off I'm sooo happy ! My boobs actually don't look like they need the top part squshed down , I had overs so ita quite strange I even have a strap ? ... I genuinely don't think I need it and it only causes my boobs to hurt .... Has anyone else felt like this ? Like actually hated this strap ?
I have my dressings off tomorrow so maybe that might make me more comfortable ... Xxxx

Re: The dreaded Strap !!!
I have full unders and wore the ace bandage strap for 1 week then I had 2 more weeks with the white velcro style one.Well it only helped my right boob drop.My left boob only dropped slightly so far.Now I'm, just doing massage and pressure on the left boob.I'd call the doctor and ask if it's OK for you to just massage since overs drop fairly easy from whatI've heard on here.
That strap is pure evil!Oh did I hate it with a passion!HaHa!

Yes, and both the nurse and doc said the same! When you left and got your discharge pack did you have the size/weight of your implants? Also do you think the band is ti help with dropping?

Re: The dreaded Strap !!!
Mine says 375gms, a bit shocked about that! But it's my own fault, as I don't think I was specific enough! Wanted to be C or D from an A and didn't want to be too small. Just hoping they'll settle down smaller!!!!
Think I'll go back to strap tonight too.
Managed a good wash today and no real mobility probs, even washed my hair!
Changing bra daily is to stop bacteria! Is there anyone who can help you there?
Yes unders too.

Its been easier than i thought ... just a lack of contact off the hospital group but. i will try them tomorrow xx

Re: The dreaded Strap !!!
True, it really put a smile on the ol man's face, that's for sure!!
Glad you've got some help! What does she think? My 19 year old son told me he was embarrassed in case his mates notice! Lol
Did a bit of ironing, prob not a good idea. A little swollen now.
Got a call from the nurse, and have to go on Mon.
