Credit Card Question...
Hiya,
This is probably a silly question but ladies who have paid for their BA with a credit card, do you literally just use it to pay like a normal bank card?
Thanks

Re: Credit Card Question...
Yes, although i have not done it this way, as i dont have a credit card, but you would use it as you use a debit card, not sure who you are going with, but i know with thg you phone up 14 days before (u can pay sooner) and ring a certain number they give you and pay over the phone.

Re: Credit Card Question...
Yeah, i paid over the phone the day before but could have done it at reception on the day of my op. the same way as you'd use a debit card. Saying that, some companies want payment way before mine did x

Re: Credit Card Question...
Yep - it's just like ordering anything with a credit card - they take the number and charge it! I did mine this way.
Good luck!!!

Re: Credit Card Question...
See if your Credit Card provider offers 0% balance transfers for a limited time, usually 12-17 months. Then ask them to transfer the cost of your BA in to your bank, then pay using that. It'll be a lot cheaper than purchasing from your CC x
Thanks!
Thanks for the replies. It's a tesco credit card with 15 months 0% interest on purchases

Re: Credit Card Question...
I paid by credit card as well. But I had the money saved, so I just put my credit card into credit, so when the transaction when through it just left my balance clear... if that makes sense?!

Re: Credit Card Question...
yeah you pay with a credit card jsut like the way you pay with a dedit card (chip and pin) or with the card details if over the phone for example but a debit card you use money you have going from your bank account and a credit card is like a loan using money you have to pay back. Lots of banks have a certain amount of months interest free credit cards so if you take one out then change after 12-15 months or whenver the interest free period ends to a diff bank n then do it again somewhere else until youve paid it off-You can constantly have interest free until you pay it all off that way. normally banks have credit card transfer offers where its free (i work in a bank) xxx
