im 3 week post op today

Well girls im 3 weeks post op today and my boobs are looking great. I will put some pictures up soon, but they have soo improved.
I havent had a great recovery, now getting over a sore throat and cold, lost my voice and my hubby didnt seem concerned, good job i had a bell.
Some advice for post op girls, i had no pain and felt fine and have over done a little, because there was no pain. But my wounds opened a little bit and have been weeping. A bra was bit tight and pushing the baby buggy in the wind didnt help.
Girls even if your in no pain, take it easy. Make sure you give your scars enough time to heal properly, i have had to have more dressing put on my scars today and have to go back on monday.
Ive been told to rest again and yes it isnt easy with 2 year old. But really take it easy and try to limit movement as much as you can.
Apart from that i love my boobs. xxx

im 6 days post op my boobs are completely numb is this ok???? there not hot or itching just warm and tender and a bit vainy??? should i be doing any thing to help the drop or any thing please help ladies x x x

Tash - so glad to hear you're feeling better - we're both 3 weeks today BA buddy!! I am LOVING mine - sounds like you're loving yours too! And definitely take it EASY girl!!!
Shell - Mine were numb for a while, they're still not totally 100%, but it gets better!! You will LOVE the shooting electric bolts you feel as the feeling comes back LOL!
Sounds totally normal hun!

That is completely normal hun, mine are still normal. Just insure you do everything your ps advised you do post op hun. xxx

Me too. Things are started to look up now and once these scars heal properly it will be even better. I know BA buddies aye? Yeah ive realised that. Now im just going rest and take it extra easy. xxx

Brill, topic! You are doing fantastic. I have a 2year old (very clingy) and a 4 year old and reading your story has given me strength, I CAN DO THIS WITH SMALL CHILDREN AS LONG AS I AM CAREFUL!!!!!!! Happy healing, DO TAKE IT A BIT MORE EASY, Ive read your comments alot and you are really supportive, so keep posting cos there are other newbies out there like me that need reasurance, Get well soon and enjoy them puppies!!!! glad ur feeling a little better hun it's nice to have somebody who understands about the kiddie thing i'm dreading gentle hugs and not throwing him about till he's almost sick lol xx

Glad to hear you are feeling better Tasha, I hope those wounds stay healed and thanks for the great advice not to do too much. Pusing a buggy is bad enough on normal days let alone this week.

Glad your doing ok hun, hows that rotten cold now?
Very wise words! My youngest is 20 months and a proper little whirlwind. It was hard not being able to lift him or sit with him on my lap but its only for a while. Im now 7 weeks post-op and im back to chasing him around and squeezing the life out of him lol. I have so much respect for single mums. I dont know how i would've coped for the first week on my own.xx

Great news you're doing well Tasha, and most of all you're loving your boobs.
Good advice about not over doing it hun, it's too easy to do too much when you're not feeling any pain, but we all have to remember we are still healing on the inside aswell as the outside.
Keep ringing that bell hun, make the most of it.

I'm glad your doing a bit better tasha! Been reading your post and sounds like you had a touch time, can totally sympathise with the tummy problems you had! My tum was absolutely awful, worse than my boobs!
I don't know how you've managed with a little one either! Your advice is fab as well so thanks so much for it!

My cold is slowly going, and my voice is coming back and im feeling like i have more energy now. I have so much respect for them too. I have 3 weeks left now, so im half way there. Nursery as been godsend, atleast she has had the cuddles there. xxx

Glad your feeling better hun, I know im going to find it hard too with having a 5 yr old and 19months, going to hate not giving them proper cuddles, but i know it will be worth it in the end. x

Glad you're feeling a bit better, the last thing you need is a cold after major surgery! I bet nursery WAS a godsend, i spent the first week trying to dodge toys being thrown at my head! Not easy when you cant move your arms or run away lol.xx

This has just made me stop and think. I had my ba last Sunday and have no pain whatsoever, im not the best patient so have been running around after my three kids, doing school runs and cleaning like a mad woman. Think i might just sit down and hand the reins over to my hubby who has spent the week going mantal at me not resting. Thank you for the advice. So pleased you are all happy with your new boobies, im loving mine xx
