DUMB! hospital called me up saying that they forgot to do a blood test! DAAAANG here i am thinking i wasnt going to have one lol... Oh well i will live. All my appointment was about paperwork and stuff so i've made another appointment to see my surgeon to find out exactly what im getting BUT i did however see her notes and she wrote down 350cc!! When i saw that i nearly cried.. I always thought they were going to be smaller then that.. OMG YAY
Welcome all lovely new buddies... 11 days for me WOOHOO. Xx

Just worrying about size really, hoping that i'm making the right choice, and hoping they will look good :) just nerves really i guess :)
I haven't done any shopping yet, does the surgeon tell you what size bra to get etc?

Re: November Buddies
Umm the surgeon wouldn't neccasarily tell you what size to get pcc will, as surgeons don't really guide themselves by bra size but say ur a 32 now get a 34 due to swelling i.e im 32c im havin 525cc i have a 34e and guna get another one too.

Re: November Buddies
So had my preop today.. Had my blood test and was algood. Im getting Anatomical McGhan implants?? not too sure what they are though lol apparently they have a saline expander in the centre with silicon shell and an extra cohesive gel part around the saline bit.. VERY CONFUSING! but she said they were the most expensive and best ones in range so im happy about that haha.
Not too certain on size yet cos she said she'd fill up to as much as she can fit but that doesnt worry me - i just hope she fits in enough lol. Most likely around the 325-350cc range yay. OOOoh and i also brought a 12D/34D surgical bra today :D
8 days to go!!!
was anyone on the 1st? i cant remember seeing anyone with that date?..

Re: November Buddies
Hi November girls,
Going for pre-op check tomorrow and to pay for BA. Its so hard to get button up tops that Ive borrowed a pair of my daughters pyjamas for the hospital. Also going to buy another sports bra tomorrow in a different size so I have two sizes in hospital. All I seem to think about is boobs, boobs, boobs just now. Time seems to be going so fast. Only got tomorrow and Sunday off work and then its the BA next Thursday so time will fly in.

Re: November Buddies
spittingfairy, I'm having 300 from a 32A and have bought 32D and 32DD but got a load of info today from mybreast, and they recommend to buy a macom bra. They seem to be made out of something stretchy because you only have to choose a S M L etc. So I've ordered a small, and hopefully that'll accomodate any rib cage swelling (although I'm still a bit bemused as to why that would swell???) I feel like I'm starting a bra shop... :heehee:

Thanks Kinky,I'll take a look at them!
Luckily my hubby is capable of cooking, but he doesn't "notice" that housework needs to be done,so I'm trying to do as much as possible before I go in!

Re: November Buddies
Hi TSmith, was supposed to be 325cc but mentioned at pre-op that I want to go a size bigger. She is going to mention it to the surgeon so see what happens on the day. I will leave it up to him as I dont want implants to not suit my small frame size. XXX

I have to be there at 7am KB. So my mother-in-law is picking me up at 6am and dropping me off. I'm hoping I don't have to wait round too long,I'm going on my own cos hubs is staying with the kids,so I'll be bored to death!
