Opal Eyes,how did it go?? Well I hope!

I'm feeling really sore today,I'm not sure if I slept badly or something but I woke up at 3 in agony and had to dose up on painkillers. Feels like all my muscles are stabbing me! Ah well,I'm hoping that in another week or so there'll be no more pain or discomfort! Dressings are coming off tomorrow so I'm looking forward to a proper bath/shower. x

Hope all you November ladies are feeling good! Had my pre-op yesterday, wasnt expecting to have my photo taken and to be swabbed for mrsa but hey its another step nearer for me! My only worry is im still waiting for my mammogram results, need to make sure all ok before my op. Keep your fingers crossed for me please ladies! xx

And Im sorry to hear that you're having some pain spittingfairy.. I am blessed and havent had any bad discomfort really - maybe cos i have overs?. Oh lovely, have a good time with looking at your new boobies properly!! hehe. X

Thanks TSmith, I loved your story too, you make it sound so easy, I just hope I'm half as brave as you and I think I'll be OK! Can't wait tho, I'm really excited now! Just wondering if anyone else is on 22nd, or is it just me?

aw thank you - im sure you'll be sweet (Just keep thinking positive) I was like that too haha no nerves at all even when i was lying on the theatre table looking at all the machinery and stuff lol!!

YAY sounds great! i wanted to be just a C too but so far i should be wearing atleast a DD with my measurements but im liking the way D's fit so far... They dont look that big! - when the settle they'll look bigger :) x

Spittingfairy - sorry to hear of your pain. I'm still feeling very sore and stiff but as I only had them done two days ago I can't complain! I am hating sleeping upright (I have a bad back and this is hell for me) but it is all worth it because we now have gorgeous new boobies!!

Frozen peas are my best friend right now. And I kicked the painkillers to the kerb, they were making me feel SO ill. So now it's just paracetamol for me and although it doesn't take the pain away, at least I am able to think straight! I hate that overwhelming nausea and being so useless. Hope your pain eases soon and good luck with getting the dressings off xx

its scary now !!! not prepared at all ... !! been taking 4 arnica a day .... dont no if thats right ... !! have nothing packed .... i have 2 sports bras in the same size .... and thats it .... !! am going to have to get everything done today (i have no idea what !!) because im working till 9pm tomorrow night .... then leaving at 6.30am saturday morning !!! will be freaking out later !!

wont be long for you either !! be here before you know it !!

Well the arnica tablets that I bought, (I think) say take 2 tablets 4 times a day? but I reckon if you have taken some then it will still help :)

At least working will take your mind of it for a bit so hopefully you won't be freaking out too much.

ohh and i have bio-oil but dont know when i have to use it ... !! and i need to get a v pillow lol .... so unprepared !!

I would start using it as soon as you can after the op (obviously nowhere near your incisions)... rub in till absorbed. I think its meant to help stop stretchmarks, but post op girls would be probably best to advise :)

thanks hun ... i thought it was after op but not 100% ... !! i think ill go look for a v pillow soon ... argos have them but dont want to pay £20 for one !! thats rather steep !!

Not long now becki!,how exciting !!! i got a v pillow and case for £7 at chiltern mills!,been using it already on the sofa while watching tv! its very cumfy!!!!

Becki!! You're gonna have boobies tomorrow! Whoop whoop. all the luck in the world to you girl. X

I started using bio oil about 2.5 weeks before my op just to make my skin more supple and be able to stretch just that little amount more! and also use it til now... so far its working but who knows what will happen once they're fully settled. Feels nice massaging it on the boobies though lol

Good luck Becki. I found it the best to work the day before the op as I couldnt run around like a headless chicken which is my usual mode. I was working until 10pm at night but it sure helped me. XXX

hi girls,

Becki..... i cant believe our ops are tomorrow!!!
i have nothing prepared either, iv been working all week to catch up on the 2weeks iv got off post op! i do agree with fran, working has stopped me worrying, im guessing il have a really bad nights sleep 2night tho.
good luck, i hope everything goes 2 plan.
