Bye Bye sports bra!
Got the go ahead from the nurse today to take of the sports bra and slip into something a little more comfortable. Serious bra shopping needed. So excited. Oh and I can swim too! (Actually that's a lie - I never could swim so it's not a miracle but I can go in the pool and play lifeguards with my kids again).
Happy days for DD Wannabe, now DD Gottabe.

Re: Bye Bye sports bra!
I had a call from my nurse today as requested...I wanted to ask when i can stop wearing the support//sports bra..So,,without seeing me she said "yeah it's ok,,ur 5 weeks po now so take it off and wear normal bras"...I'm worried as she didn't see me to see if i look ok to wear normal bras..My surgeon is on leave till end of sep and i am NOT pleased as i was told i would see him at 6 weeks po!! So,,now i'm left worrying if i wear normal bras will i do my implants damage or put them back outa shape...I have just started to D&F a tinyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bit so,,really don't want to cause problems for myself..Has any1 else had this advice from their nurse and followed it? Thanx xx

Re: Bye Bye sports bra!
Lorri I would only take advice from your surgeon. For the sake of a few extra weeks and your peace of mind, wait for the green light from him/ her.
Whats a few weeks to the rest of your life?
xx
@DDWannabee, you're funny (swimming comment!)!
Enjoy shopping lovely, you deserve to spoil yourself! :)

Re: Bye Bye sports bra!
BKOZ,,i agree with u,,i'm going to continue with the sports bra until i see my surgeon..4,000 and an extra few weeks is NOT worth the risk to wear an ordinary bra from the advice of a nurse who did not see me :)x

Re: Bye Bye sports bra!
OK - so I've raided the shelves at Primark and purchased some cheap different shapes so that I can see what I like and feel good in. Woop woop - love the new support. Laughed so much when I realised I was looking for a 34AA and actually needed a 34DD. The bras looked massive on the hanger and I couldn't believe I would really fill them. Home and doing a cat walk show for the hubby was a lot of fun. We both enjoyed the new look.
Looking forward to a proper shopping trip over the weekend without the kids and with time to try before I buy. Can't believe I don't need padding or room for the chicken fillets any more.
One happy lady! x
