Re: cc and unders
i know gem gem but its still goin into the breast regardless of where it goes, thought unders just held it bit firmer because of lack of tissue, i dont understand. im bein simple and makin myself panic with 6 days to go. dont want to loose any potential boobies. lol

Re: cc and unders
Hiya hon, I really don't know that there is any truth to the who 'losing CC's with unders theory'.
As one of the other girls said, the implant is it's particular size and it is going in the breast, the mass of the implant cannot change.
The implant gets pressure from the muscle, sure, but the muscle eventually relaxes (fluffing) and drops the implant into place, which results usually in people going a cup size bigger.
So the jury is out on that one, I thought the same at first too from what I read on here and on other sites, but's it's illogical and quite impossible for that to occur!
Sorry to confuse the matter
xx

Re: cc and unders
You're welcome hon, I am pre op too so definitely not speaking from experience.
My surgeon chose 350cc unders, I asked for bigger and overs and he said 'no way', and thats good enough for me. If he feels so adamant about it, I have to trust that it's for good reason.
I have seen girls on here say 350cc is too big, too small, just right; every body is so very different and we need to put faith in our surgeons. So long as you feel comfortable with him/ her, I say go with his reccomendation.... Within reason of course. If you strongly believe you should be bigger or smaller then have another consultation. My surgeon's office manager said to me, "I have had girls like you sitting on this very couch crying because they have no breasts. On the other side of that I have had girls sitting in that very seat in tears because their backs are so sore and they cannot live a normal life."
That really got me thinking, and, I will be happy with a decent C cup or D cup - we can always buy a push up bra for that extra oomph when we need it but you can't make them any smaller i am afraid!

Re: cc and unders
I agree with BKOZ - the mass of the implant is what it is, you can't "lose" it because you go for unders.
Your surgeon will be making the recommendation to have unders for a reason - quite often because of lack of natural breast tissue - and when thats the case, often it also means the skin won't stretch past a certain point to put in an implant any larger than a certain cc in... we just have to trust that they probably know a bit more about it than we do (they're likely seen a lot more boobs than we have!) xx

Re: cc and unders
I'm with BKOZ...you don't actually lose any ccs...However, when you try on the sizers (implants just in a bra) they will look slightly bigger than what they would look like inside your body since they are not acutally inside your body. When they're in there, they will be compressed by your tissue and skin more so than when just in a bra if that makes sense. If you get them under the muscle, that's just one more layer of compression/coverage. I went 25 cc bigger than the ideal size I picked from the sizers and it turned out to be pretty spot on! Hope this info helps! xoxoxo :flowers:
