26 Days Post Op Appointment
Hi Ladies,
Again, I would like to thank everyone for all their support and guidance through my healing process. I had my 3rd post op appointment today which went well. I am healing the way I am supposed to and my PS has no concerns at this point, which made me really happy. BUUUT!!! My main concern was my uneven breasts Pre op my asymmetry was different, my left breast was slightly larger than my right. I had no idea my breast were different sizes because when looking in the mirror or when I wore a bra I couldn't tell, neither could anyone else. BUT in a photo of me naked, you can completely tell the difference which completely crushes me because I had no idea. Now that I had my BA my left breast looks full, large and the fake affect, whereas my right sits more natural looking and not so full underneath. My fiancé says they look amazing and you cannot really tell the difference if you didn't know. YA RIGHT! Sometimes I look in the mirror and they look normal and the same but when I really analyze the shape and size you can tell. Also, in a photo, you can completely see the difference and it really makes me upset. Not that I am planning on having nude photos of myself, but I just thought by getting breast implants I would not have to worry about always wearing a bra or be self-conscious about my breasts naked. But I still do, my right nipple is lower than my left and when I put on a top without a bra (just to see how I would look for future) you can see my uneven nipples
I spoke to other women who had their breasts done and they had told me they got different cc in each breast, 375 in one and 400 in the other because of their asymmetry. So I panicked because my PS put 500cc in both breast which made me wonder, ohh no he messed up and forgot about my asymmetry. So at my appointment today I pointed out my concerns and questions, I asked why he used the same cc in both breasts instead of trying to even them out more and he said that using the same cc in both breasts were my best option. For my surgery he used a filler technique, so while the breast implants were in he would fill them up with a certain amount of cc and compare the sizes, which would look best for my body in size and shape. He told me he tried different cc's but it made the asymmetry difference more noticeable. SO I guess because my breasts were uneven before, he did the best he could to make them more natural and not so different and having the same cc in was the best option.
But on a good note, I am completely happy with the size my breasts became, a 34D-DD, my PS and his staff were amazing through my journey to a new look, so I don't want to sound too disappointed. I am also happy that my breasts look amazing in a bra/clothing and that you cannot tell the difference but I just hope over time, even though my asymmetry is different, my left breast will become more natural looking like my right, so when I am naked I will not feel too uncomfortable.
I will keep you ladies update on my journey to recovery and maybe on my next appointment in October I will have better news

Hi Anna thank you for sharing your story and congratulations! I would give them some more time until they fluff and then you can see the final results. The surgeons know what they are doing... feel well

Thanks girls
xaxa, congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are very excitd and the 6 months can not go fast enough for you. I know when my surgery was booked it seemed too good to be true and that date would never come. Hard to believe it's been almost a month since my new ta'tas!!! Good luck and I look forward to hearing about your journey xo!
Kayleigh9, thanks for the reassurance :) I know in time they will become more amazing haha, but it's hard to believe that when your body is going through so many changes, you think, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?? haha. Hope your healing time continues to go well and both of our boobies cooperate and fall into place like they should

Re: 26 Days Post Op Appointment
It sounds to me like one has dropped and fluffed before the other and this means when the other breast catches up they should even out. I had slight asymetry before my op, my surgeon also said my one boob was a different shape to the other. I had the same size implant and they look 10 times better, They are both (eventually) the same shape and near enough the same size. They will never be perfectly even, this is impossible, but it will probably only be you who can tell the difference.
Re: 26 Days Post Op Appointment
Thanks misf1!!! Did you find after you had your BA you could really notice that one was bigger and a different shape? That is SOO great to hear I still have hope for my left breast to become somewhat the same shape as my right even though my asymmytry was off to start with. I know they won't be perfect but as long as one doesn't stay the full fake look while the other fluffs into a natural looking breast haha. Although I wish my right would be like my left haha. Just right now it's hard but then again, after my BA I found it hard to believe I would ever recover and feel normal again, but in time my breasts are feeling apart of me again so like you said, in time they will become the same, somewhat

Re: 26 Days Post Op Appointment
Hi glad it all went well. Think us girls can over analyze pictures too much sometimes and everything looks sooo magnified when we do piccys you notice things that you've never noticed when looking in the mirror at them lol. I'm sure like the others have said you just need time for the other to fluff. At least you had the guts to ask the surgeon and I'm sure he put your mind at rest x

Re: 26 Days Post Op Appointment
Awww sweetie, give them time to both settle and relax.
You wouldn't believe how many of us have wonky boobs early post-op, including myself!
My boobs were wonky, I had one larger than the other, I had panic attacks as it felt like one breast was actually moving so far into my armpit, I was so scared I'd wake up with it on my back!
But then 'my' 10 week marker arrived! What a wonderful day that was, my breasts started to even out in both size and symmetry! By 12 weeks post-op I had perfect symmetry and size, I spent all that time worrying for nothing....
It's absolutely normal hunni, to have some asymmetry early post-op, the healing part of a BA is the most nerve racking part of a BA I feel and nobody eplains to you pre-op that 'TIME' is the most important thing you will have to deal with post-op. You still have many changes ahead hunni, so give it 'time' xx

Re: 26 Days Post Op Appointment
Big hugs Anna I'm sure everything will be fine hun, 26 days is very early and your boobs will go through alot of changes over the coming months. I agree with lolly we do over analyse our boobs and even the smallest thing looks magnified when you're looking for it. Try not to worry hun. xx
gorgousgirl4444 hugs for you too and have to tell you your avatar looks stunning hun. xx
