Re: first post op appointment
Hi Laura. If I remember correctly, my surgery was Sunday and my post op was the following mon/tues. I dont think I received a letter in the post for it, I had a call from my nurse 2days post to see how i was, and then given a date and time on the phone, which was then emailed over to me. I would keep on at them, phone them first thing for an answer, but dont worry that its not exactly 1week, it differs up to 2wks i think.

Re: first post op appointment
Around a week is normally when the first week check is, it doesn't have to be exactly 7 days post op... mine was 8 days post op...
If they don't get back to you I would ring in again to make sure you get your appointment just to ensure all is going well xx

Re: first post op appointment
Hey,
I was given an appointment on discharge from hospital for 8 days later ( op on monday then review/dressings off the following tuesday).
After that appointment my surgeon said he didn't want to see me again due to the healing of the incisions ( were nearly healed by the appointment) I think both my surgeon and myself were surprised how well the scars looked .

Re: first post op appointment
Hey Laura,
My surgery was on the Saturday and the follow up was the Friday. I called the clinic on the Monday morning and spoke to the nurse and she booked me in there and then. I'd get back on the phone to them.
With hindsight I think mine was a little early at 6 days as my wounds hadn't completely closed so I had another one the following week when I was finally allowed to shower!
I had my four week check up last week, so I'm now all good to go until three months now!!x
