Will I find out CORRECT bra size at consultation?
Hey Everyone,
I have my first consultation this Friday (woo-hoo!) and I'm totally confused by all this band/bra measuring business. If I put a measuring tape under my boobs I measure 29 inches and my boobs measure 34 inches, so god knows what bra I'm actually supposed to be in... but will they measure me on Friday? Surely they will?
I need to know what band size I am so I can properly decide on which cup size I'm aiming for!

You won't get a sizing at your consultation babe, you will be going to have your wounds checked by a nurse. You need to go to a 'bra fitter' to have your boobs sized.
If you're unsure about your bra size, preferably go to Bravissimo or any other lingerie specialist shop, you won't be measured sweetie, you'll be 'fitted' into your sportsbra to ensure you get the best fit, if you dont know of a specialist shop in your area, then Debenhams will probably be your next bet hun.
Good luck for your 1st consultation, hope all goes well and hope you find a bra that fits and is comfy too. xx

From the measurements you have said I'd estimate you are a 30D but you would need to get fitted for a bra properly.

D???!!!! But I'm flatter than a French pancake!!! LOL
I'm pre BA, and literally have next to nothing up top. If I were a D cup I'd be singing from the mountain tops, babes!
Sorry for the confusion in my original post, I'm just thoroughly confused as to what bra size I am at the moment (wear a 34a) and have been going by what appears to be the 'old way' of measuring my bra size up until now. I expect I'm more likely a 32 B, but that still adds 2 to 3 inches to my band.......

I know it sounds mad and you may think I'm crazy but when you look at a 30d bra they are much smaller than say a 34d. A 30d would be about the same as a 34b.

Wow. Well in that case maybe I'll be buying myself some juicy G cups! xx
