Do you wear the correct bra size?
Right, I know what I want to ask but not sure how to word it so here goes.
You know if you go and get measured and they tell you you're a 32f for instance, does that mean you wear that size bra? The only reason I'm asking is because I can't imagine wearing a bra that big. I'm bound to be told I'm around that size but I've tried on a 32d bra that I have at home which doesn't seem that far off fitting. I guess my question is do you ever wear bra's that are smaller than what you are because you feel they are better despite what professionals tell you.
I feel silly for asking what seems like a stupid question so hope someone gets my drift! x

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
The fit of bras can be different in every single shop, even the cut of some bras makes the fitting different. I got measured at a 32F in bravissimo. I bought 32F's in the katie price range but also bought 32E's in the t shirt type bras in the katie price range. In la senza I can be a 32F in one bra a 32FF in another and a 34E in another. I would get measured to give you an idea and then before you buy anything try on that size, it may fit or you may need a bigger or smaller size.
Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
I know what you mean. I think you're always going to have to try every bra on now because they do vary so much. I have been measured today and i am a 30DD/E - how hilarious!! I only wanted to be a C!! Saying that though wearing a D doesnt look ridiculous.
It's so amazing trying bra's on now though xx

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
Thanks girls, glad you knew what I meant. I guess I've always wanted to be the judge of my own boobs and not be told what size I should be wearing cos I like to wear what I feel good in whether that's bigger or smaller than what they suggest.
I remember getting measured for a nursing bra when I was pregnant, being told I was an f cup and still leaving the shop with just a dd lol xx

Thanks Natalia, that's exactly the point I was trying to make haha, I wanted to know if you went on how it felt and made your boobs look rather than going purely on size. xxx

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
Katie Price says her boobs were only dd at her biggest, I can only assume she is going purely on the bra size she chose to wear rather than what she actually measured.
I guess getting professionally measured is a matter of choice x

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
when i went to buy my bras for lasenza at 6 wks PO, the girl measured me at 32e however, I've always worn a 34 band, so i bought a bra in 32e, even though it felt so stiff, and bought some at 34e too,one im wering in my avatar, I've ditched the 32 band bra, it feels so tight ( so i think she got that wrong ? )
I also got some from marks and spencers in a 34e, and my faves are a 34dd, they fit like a glove, and slighty stretchy lace from the autograph range, and a good price too

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
hi bras are like clothes i guess in some shops your a sz 10 and in others you could be a sz 8 or even a sz 12 it all depends on fit i cant buy a bra now without trying it on first! i guess you get used to different styles and different shops and you make your mind up from there i think.xxxx

So if that's the case then how do you actually know what size you are? x

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
i'm gona get measured just to see what they say but I agree Angeslice, I'd rather buy what I'm comfy in. I got measured pre op and was told by La Senza I was a 30B which was ridulous, I wore 32a's but sometimes got 32aa's for better cleavage. I think you need to see what u fee best in!x

Re: Do you wear the correct bra size?
hi i agree staci i could say im a sz 8 in clothes but i wouldnt buy the item if it was too small or too big etc id buy what looked and felt best. i think you have too take things on avarage if you find the majority of shops tell you your a 32f for example then thats where id start. i watched that gok wang thing on tv the other day and he lined up about 5-6 girls and said there all a sz 14 but they all looked completely different! some looked bigger/smaller then others. a couple of my friends measure the same bra sz and one looks about two cup sizes bigger its so weird my surgeon says its down to manufactors (if thats spelt right) hope that helps.
