ouch ouch ouch (i could carry on lol)

OMG!!! Somebody help me lol 2days after my op.... Yesterday I was crying my eyes out I felt like my chest was being ripped apart... Today its not as bad but I fell SO awful I'm not reacting well to the meds atall! I rang the emergency 24 hour contact number 7 times and nobody answerd I was shaking heaving hot and cold couldn't sleep going to the toilet (that's put in a nice way lol) so I was litrally panicking I rang the abbey pine hospital where I had it done and explained the receptionist put me through to a nurse on the ward, I now class this woman as my angel lol she told me to stop all the medication anitibiotics and everything because that's what's making me ill she told me to eat some ginger nut biscuits and I should feel better in 24 hours when it all leaves my system I'm allready feeling a lot better I'm just taking paracetomal for the general boobie pains. Now my other dilemma is how on earth do you sleep ? Haha I'm so uncomfortable I've got so many pillows its unreal! I'm just hoping this is over soon because its been 2 days and I've said 'I wish I hadn't done this' about 5 times I can't wait to enjoy them :( x

not long until the pain starts to ease now babe, your coming out of the hard bit dont worry!!. try to do things that distract you, when you do nothing its easy to focus on the oain. Maybe watch a comedy or have your friends round n do nails etc xxx

Oh no Lucy-jane that sounds awful, glad you are starting to feel a bit better though, fingers crossed it will be out of your system very quickly.

Not sure about the sleeping thing as haven't had mine done yet but just try and rest as much as possible.

I'm sure in a couple of days you will feel much better and will start enjoying your new additions xx

I thought exactly the same 'WHAT HAVE I DONE TO MYSELF!' and 'HOW DO OTHER PPL COPE WITH THE PAIN?'

I'm now on day 4 and beginning to feel a bit normal...stil in pain but i can bear it now. Don't think i've quite got the hang of sleeping yet...still uncomfortable and kills when I wake up.

But just thought i'd let you know you are not on your own!!

Just take one day at a time - knowing each day does get better gived me hope!

Awwww darling, i cant understand what your going through as i had a painfree recovery on day 20 now i hope u can start enjoying them soon hunii!!!! x

Poor you! So pleased the nurse was helpful though, bless her. Really hope the pain starts easing off soon so you can enjoy your fabulous new boobies.

Get some DVD's in or have someone give you a nice foot rub or something. Anything to help take your mind off the pain!

Thanks ladies I'm sat watching tv with loads of magazines infront of me, its nice to know you all know what I'm going through just think everybodys different my friend had a pain free recovery too. I hope the sickness wears off soon then atleast I can sooth my pain with some chocolate muhaha thanks again ladies you don't know how much your well wishes lift my spirits just can't wait to be on the other end xxx

Will have a bad time like you! HOpe it starts to ease soon for you. I am dreading trying to sleep... I am a very light and rubbish sleeper at the best of times so god knows how I Will manage after the op.. keep us treated on how you are... its good to know what to possibly expect x
