OUCH!!!!!
So I have removed slightly the bandages in the middle as they were itching like crazy only to have my skin come away with the bandages and they've now blistered, has anyone else had this???
Now instead of looking forward to removing my bandages I'm really scared that its goin to hurt and pull my skin off even more, so scared of it scarring more than stitches. Xx

Re: OUCH!!!!!
Hi Hun x I didn't have any blistering when my dressings were removed. Could it be a reaction to the dressings? Maybe give your clinic a call Hun and check with them x

Aww red and itchy is ok, try some frozen peas but not near your incisions. Or an antihistamene can also help. But if there's blisters I would definatly call your clinic Hun xx

Has anyone ever taken their bandages off earlier than advised? I have this vision that I'm gonna look like one big blister x

Re: OUCH!!!!!
I had blistering but it was a reaction to my sports bra material. Surgeon was aware of my sensitive skin and I had no real reactions to the dressings. Do think it's worth giving your nurse a ring xx

Re: OUCH!!!!!
hi mrsflips,
I had to wait for my nurse to remove my bandages and a whole 12 days!!! they were really stuck on that I wouldn't have been able to anyway.
Did u use anything to help u remove them, the nurse used these wipes to help un-stick them... Have you got any of those? Maybe try some of those post-waxing wipes? don't know what to do about the blisters, as Lisa said I'd call the clinic x

Re: OUCH!!!!!
I reacted with blisters babe and its not pleasant at all
It really would be advisable for you to contact your clinic babe and get them to check you over. If any of the blister become infected this could lead to complications hun, so do get checked out. Xx

Re: OUCH!!!!!
I have spoken with my nurse who has said these are tension blisters caused by the dressings being pulled tight. They've already started to heal and she has said they won't scar. Slowly does it when I take them off. Xxx
