return to work
I booked a week off but its more like returning on day 6 really - where day 1 is surgery day.
Like surgery day is thursday and i'm back in the following tuesday...
i can take longer off sick if i need but dont do anything strenuous - like its just an easy office job really.
What did you girls do and when did you feel that you could return?

Re: return to work
I took two weeks off. I could probably have gone back affter one week, but I travel quite far to and from work and I didn't feel comfy driving.
Re: return to work
I work long hours (normally 10-12 a day) so needed 2 weeks fully and I'm so glad I had that. I work in a office and I don't lift anything but just the pace and stress of the job has been v tiring when trying to recover.
A few xtra days wouldn't do you any harm if you could manage to wangle it off somehow. It all helps the healing !

Re: return to work
I'm still pre-BA, but I asked about how long I'd need off work when I made my booking. I'll be off for a total of 12 days (including weekends), and was told I could probably go back earlier if I wanted, but mostly it would just be that you can get very tired and so you lose concentration / productivity etc.

Re: return to work
Hey there, I went back on day 4 and man did I wish I had an entire week! Do you have a desk job or lots of lifting/walking etc? That may make a difference in when you'd want to come back.
Congrats on the boobies, BTW!!!!

Re: return to work
I have 2 weeks off and have my fingers crossed that I won't need any more than that! I have a stressfull job in an unpredictable environment and was advised that I should take at least 4 weeks off..... that would be impossible!
