First Glammed Up Night Out After New Boobies
Hi girls,
How long was it after your op that you went out on your first ultra-glammed up night out and what did you wear?
I've got a feeling my first night out might be a week after, but I'm also having a lift and tummy tuck.
Does it sound too ambitious going out for a night out that soon? Will I have to leave the 4 inch heels in the wardrobe that night?
Any stories or comments really appreciated,
MF x x x

It sounds a bit ambitious to me, hun. Sorry! But a TT + BA is a lot for your body to go through (brave woman!) and you'll be very tired and tender at such an early stage.
I'd postpone. Spend the night admiring your new boobies instead ;-)

I think you have very little chance of being able to go out after such major surgery after a week. I really dont think you will feel up for it. I went out on a night out and to a concert about 4 weeks post op and was fine. I might have been ok at 2 weeks, but certainly not one week.

Im planning a night out 12 days post op! hopefully will be ok!! Im getting overs though which iv heard is less recovery time, but i am taking it with a pinch of salt because i know everyones recovery time is different and i may as well wait and see how im feeling!! xx when is ur op hun???

i felt like a piece of glass the first few days, there was no wanting to go out for me lol! it still kinda hurt and if someone had knocked me i would have passed out with pain! be careful do what your body feels like but id be very surprised if you make it out after 7 days lol! it was at about 5 weeks PO that i went out properly x

I think a week post op will be far to soon!
I had a tummy tuck last year & it took a full 2 weeks for me to be able to stand up straight (I didn't have any muscle tightening or lipo - just simple skin removal). You will have to wear a compression band thing around your tummy for at least 2 weeks, which is very visible under clothes (the ones you can actually fit over it that is!). I think 3-4 weeks is a more realistic target for a night out at the very earliest.
After my BA I would say I would have been ok to do a night out after 2 weeks but not 1.

I'm sorry hun, but I totally agree with the girls on this one. I think you're definietley going to need a few weeks rest before you have a night out. Happy healing hun. xxx

That sounds way too soon for the amount of surgery your having.
I will probably go to my local on the 2 week anniversary of my new additions but I will literally be sat down and hardly moving so as not to get knocked etc.

MF, good look with the surgery, you must be so looking forward to it all but I would also agree with the rest of the girls. Don't plan anything for at least week to give yourself time to recover and to be honest, you probably wont feel up to it anyway and will want to chill.
After BA/uplift I managed a meal out after 9 days but my first proper drinking/glam night was 3 weeks and I wish I had left it a bit longer before a biggie ! x

I agree with the other girls, def not a week after surgery! I went out on Saturday 15 days post op to a local festival type thing. It was kind of casual so I was glad that I could wear somethin 2 hide my sports bra!! But I woke up the next day and my boobs were really sore, I felt as tho i'd been wrestling! xx

I wouldn't go out that soon either Hun.You might have drains with the tummy tuck plus I bet you'll feel very tired in the first 2 weeks.Wearing high heels would be hard on you as well.I had the ugly sports bra and strap on my boobs for weeks and I had to wear a zipper hoodie jacket to hide my strap. It was aweful looking! And in this heat of summer you couldn't hide the strap as easily if you end up wearing one.
Just let yourself rest. That's a lot of surgery you are having. You'll have plenty of time to have fun after a few weeks of rest!

Hey girlies,
Many thanks for all your replies. Guess I'm gonna have to spend a few weekends in front of the TV whilst I'm recovering then! It sounds as if I'd probably have a miserable evening and be absolutely shattered the day after anyway. You're right, it's a lot of surgery to be having in one go, so a bit of R and R wouldn't go amiss.
Will keep you posted with how things go. Only 8 days to go. Whoop!
