I have just got home from work to find my chest strap has arrived, it's actually so much more comfortable than I thought it was going to be and feels alot better than the tape!

Re: September Buddies!
Thanks for the advice Louisevaa!!! Are you glad u went for the 300cc or do you wish you went bigger. I orginally ordered the 310cc, but Ive virtually set my mind on the 295cc even thought theres not much difference, im just a scardy cat, dont want to end up a dd cup!!!! I dont think my body could carry it off tbh.
Im feeling pretty strange really, like its not actually happening on Sunday, but at the same time I know it is, cant really explain it lol
Im going to get the rest of my housework done n then wait for sunday, the days are flying by.
XxTracyXx - glad your feeling better hun

Re: September Buddies!
Hello ladies, well, I just woke up, put the kettle on for my BF, because I'm nil by mouth. My bag is all packed, I'm just going to take a shower and kick back for a little while until its time for us to head off to the hospital....
I've been lying awake tossing and turning for an hour before deciding to just get up because I was so nervous I couldn't sleep!!
I've got my laptop to take to the hospital, so depending on how I feel, I'll be on as soon as I can to update you all on how it went! xx

I'm really happy with the size, im filling a 34d cup, I reckon I might end up a 32d once the swelling goes down! I'm 5'5" and about 9stone if that helps. As long as you trust your surgeon I'd go with what ever he thinks will look best.
Loads of luck kiwi! Honestly try not to be nervous, it'll all be over before you know it! Honestly nothing was as bad as I thought it would be. Xxx

Re: September Buddies!
im feeling really good. Bruised and Swollen, in hosp overnight watching wilfred. All good, just take my advice and ask for regular painkillers - dont wait to be in pain if that makes sense?
Im perhaps waiting for it to hit tomorrow... Eek!

Re: September Buddies!
Loopylou, I keep thinking tomorrow is going to be a painful day. I've really found moving about helps ease the tightness and keeping up with your meds of course! I think I've already experienced the dreaded morning boob after sitting down for too long!! Xx

Re: September Buddies!
Hi ladies, had to change my bra this morning as they broke the zip putting it on me in recovery!! Hubby helped me out so had a quick look at the new boobies! Only a quick one as I don't really want to see them in their current state as I know this isn't how they'll look eventually! Still pain free, just feel like I've done too much in the gym! I do have a stupidly high pain threshold though. Can't believe how many girls are being done this month, just means loads of support for us all.

Re: September Buddies!
Good luck shell. Gina, will post next week about work, good luck on your return! Louise_vaa, had a 'sitting still' day today. Which is extremely difficult for me! Still ok pain wise, hot boobs though, wasn't sure if to use ice packs yet, if just through my bra?! Got in touch with clinic who had forgotten to tell me I had a checkup on Monday!! Sorted now and received a courtesy call separately from them this afternoon!!
Hope all the remaining sept buddies are reading our posts! Best decision we ever made and although still a long road ahead, it's so worth it already. Big V Pillow is a god send. Slept like I was unconscious last night.

Re: September Buddies!
I've been really good today, woke up a bit stiff from not being able to roll over in my sleep, but after being up for a bit and having a shower I felt tons better. I went into town with my boyfriend and bought some more sports bra's, took the dog for a walk. I just have to make sure I walk slowly as I can't take deep breaths. It's a bit frustrating not being able to do much but I already love my boobs loads! Can't wait to see them without bandages!! Xxx

You bet we are Aliwoo! Thank god for your good news stories! The other night I made the mistake of looking at the complications section on the forum and worried myself sick! I suppose it's better to be prepared for potential problems than bury your head in the sand, but I managed to convince myself that I would end up with all of them!
I'm starting to get pretty nervous now. Up until this week I felt as though it was ages away and probably wouldn't happen, but now it's only days away!
Well done to everyone who's had their op in the last few days - happy that you're all healing well and not in too much pain. And BRING IT ON to the rest of us!!

Re: September Buddies!
Peapod - try not to worry, it'll all be over really quickly for you! Once they put that needle in you won't remember a thing (plus the needle going in was fine, I was really worrie about it!) read the surgery stories, they'll help you to know what to expect for the day. Also lip balm was my essential item, my lips were so dry afterwards! Xxx

Thanks for the good wishes girls. It all went smooth as a whistle! About to write up my story (since I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, and my BF is busy playing with his new chainsaw, I see no better time!)
