Re: September Buddies!
Aww, Laura, I saw you post on that, how annoying. I hope you manage to sort it out and it doesn't stress you out too much. I reckon you should keep your head down and say nothing! I don't want people to know at work but my job is really physical so I don't think I'll be able to get away without lifting anything for a month! that's stressing me out more than the op. I nearly had mine done at mcindoe, but went with spire in the end at Gatwick park. Hope it all works out! Xxx

Congratulaions Tracy,
Glad it all went well. I saw an electric bed in Ikea at the weekend and was soooo tempted!
Enjoy your new best friends, can't wait to hear your story xx

Re: September Buddies!
Also I plan on washing my hair and then tie it up so it stays clean for longer. I've got some dry shampoo, then after that I'll make my boyfriend or housemate wash it for me! Xxx

Ah. will tie up, or get someone to do it for me!
I bought a massive dry shampoo in superdrug at the weekend to get me through the dirty days - was half price!

*thinking of your Tracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
@ xlaurax - it's really only a few days you are reliant on other people and you are constantly progressing in the healing stages you never remain the same for more than 12 hours, everything keeps getting better and better so don't stress :)
As far as shampoo goes... I washed my hair really thoroughly and styled it on the day... I still havent been able to wash my hair yet and it feels so oily and gross :( If I had a hairdresser here I would have been fine to go as early as yesterday, you just will need to make them aware that you need help up out of the basin.
xx

Re: September Buddies!
Half your luck Sarah!
You should be fine, it's really just the motion of getting up like when you sit forward from the basin that you will need support/ help with. Otherwise you should be fine.
I will never take my core/ torso muscles for granted again after this!

Ohh, thats good to hear sweetcarol. I'll be happy to be out and about walking and such after a few days. Just as long as I'm not totally laid up, I'll be happy!
But you know... I'll take the rest as as when I need it....

Re: September Buddies!
YES YOU ARE - good luck scissorsarah, are you all ready to go?
Sweetcarol and BKOZ - thanks for the advice, I think I might get down to the hairdressers then - I have a local salon offering wash and blow dry for £10 during the week. I have a week off so might even pop in twice - get the hair done day before I go back to work so everyone says " ooh new hair - lovely - and completely miss the new rack! :)
Its good to see you all doing so well post op, very reassuring, thanks for posting

Re: September Buddies!
HI all. Daily update time.... today is day 4 and I had a better sleep last night at least, but still tired though! Today I feel more tight and heavy. THE scars are still very clean. I changed my bra and pads again today. I Put a tightish top on yesterday and it did feel good having something to look down at! I am going to take some photos later so I can monitor the changes. MY boyf reckons they have changed already.
GOOD luck to You two tomoz X

Re: September Buddies!
Good luck for tomorrow girls x x
I am still in a bit of achey pain but nothing major, I'm able to get around and think it's more of my strapping hurting as it's so tight rather than my boobies,
Will definately be having a lower half shower tomorrow and may also get my sister to wash my hair for me,
X

Ummm, I think she's got to be at the hospital about half an hour from now... (on my vauge time difference maths). So, maybe another few hours until she's out... it'll be past my bedtime, anyway.
So I'll just have to pass on my congrats to her in the morning, my time

Re: September Buddies!
Another update from me,
Left my parents today and my sister washed my hair for me over the side of the bath, then she dried it for me,
After she left I had a shower- bottom half only - and it was heaven!
Absolutely shattered now by trying to stay awake until 2pm
Was lovely to put moisturiser on my legs and get into some clean leggings and a clean night shirt, I also managed to wash the black marker pen off the top of my boobs with face wipes,
My boobs are a bit squelchy and sore but feels like bruising rather than severe pain,
Tried to blow my nose a couple of times but it didn't work!!

september buddies i have boobs
hi september buddies i finally have some boobs i had them on the 3rd of september and after a little regret i now love them im no longer needing pain relief and can do most things like wash my hair just takes a little longer everything seems ok and everyday my boobs seem to be getting softer and are moving down and inwards slightly, when i first looked at them they had a massive gap where my cleavage should be and they where torpedo shaped and i hated them they still pretty numb all over too. Hope you all as excited as i was love to you all xx

Re: September Buddies!
Congrats girls!
Tracy, glad to hear you're not in too much pain. It's more like bruised/sore discomfort, I found.
Shirtripper - YAY! glad u now love your new boobies - do u have a story up? Don't worry about the cleavage by Friday they'll be closer together - mine took about 5-7days and now I have normal distance apart boobies!
LOL
