Hi Girls,
I am going to join in with you september buddies!
I will either be having Mr Kahn on 4th September or Dr Frati on 5th September,
I think Dr Frati will be my choice but I have another consultation for Mr Khan tomorrow morning, then it will be the choice of the 2 for me!

Re: September Buddies!
Ohh, I know exactly what you mean Louise! I keep flipping between excited and scared too! It's mostly excited, to be fair... I'm all hyper about it!! But then every once in a while I get all "OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG... what the HELL am I going to do to myself?!?!?". I start freaking out about the pain, and get paranoid about getting massively constipated, about everyone at work noticing, about being a burden on my boyfriend while I'm recovering....
But then I think "But I'll have BOOBIES!!!!!!!!!" and usually get over it!!! xx

Re: September Buddies!
My buddies dropped off my email, Ive missed so much!
welcome new ladies!
Sweetcarol - Im not telling my mum, she would flip. My friends know and will no doubt (I hope!) pop in to see me and help a bit but I've been planning my first week recovery strategy . I got a bit scared by poor missys bad time and plan on taking it very easy.
So pre op self recovery plans include: cleaning the house like a ninja - full going over weekend before and then wont stress myself after that. Spare duvet with nice fresh cover ready to change as dont want to be fighting with bedding 3 days in!
I also intend to get an internet shop mainly just nice ready meals etc to be delivered the night before op to minimise housework during the first week at least. In my mind I would cook some food and freeze but timewise September is busy and its probably not going to happen.

Re: September Buddies!
I know what you mean about poor Missy! That's definitely the kind of story to put it all in perspective, so you know you really do have to go easy on yourself!
Makes me feel more and more thankful by the day that I have someone to take care of me, and I won't need to worry about all that cooking and cleaning jazz!
Good thinking on the ninja-like preparation though, loopyloou! And also the shopping delivery - that way you don't even need to waste time going out to shop, you can just focus on the cleaning and let someone else deliver it to your door!!!

Re: September Buddies!
I'm worried about how hard it's going to be taking it easy, I do the majority of the cleaning in my house, not because my housemates won't help but I like things a certain way! They will help me out though and luckily my bf will be around for the 1st 4 days! I'm just used to rushing around being busy all the time. I'll have to get some good books I think! Xxx

Hey Wenna - Welcome to September buddies!
You're right Scossorsarah! August HAS flown by!!! (Oh, and we are sexy ladies!! hehe) I don't really know where it went... but I'm personally hoping the first half of September goes the same way!! (But then, I'm kind of hoping the 2 weeks after 21st Sept go SLOW - so I can enjoy my break away from work!!! AND my new boobs, of course!!!!)

Re: September Buddies!
Hi sexy fab ladies. My nurse told me to take arnica a week before and a week after but it may depend on differents surgeons i guess. But it is amazing for healing.
Cant believe that this time next week i will be home with new boobies ! Bought my sports bras today. As a joke i tried one on with my fried eggs as they are now. Nearly fell over laughing at the amount of space in them. Just cant imagine anything being there to fill them !! :heehee:
Hope everyone ok. Am getting seriously nervous now ! Eeeeek !

Hey girls!
Well I'm all booked in for the 5th September! I'm so unbelievably excited now!
I want to go shopping for sports bras and things to do at home while resting!
I have also requested to be the first surgery of the day so that should help to stop me sitting around feeling nervous!
9 more days!
