Happy with your size?
Re: Happy with your size?
Thanks DL :) I was very lucky with the amount of bruising I had, although I still have a very faint yellow bruise between my breasts (but I think thats because I had quite a lot of swelling after my op) I thought it was betadine but my partner was like no its bruising silly (bcos lucky him got to change my dresssings each day)

I was a 32aa/a before and had 340cc unders in both. Measuring a 32c. I think i would of appreciated it more if i hadnt of worn my gel bra and chicken fillets the week before >.< xx

Haha, I ALWAYS wear gel bras and chicken fillets, every day. So it's not gonna feel that different for me, but I just can't wait to be able to wear a NORMAL bra.

Re: Happy with your size?
I just want boobs. Not overly noticable, but not unnoticable either. A nice, in proportion, bouncy booby size.

Hi, I think you could achieve that with 400s. I was 32a had315 for my first ba and was a D i have now had 410 put in and wearing DD support bra which just fits! Everyone is different though and your PS should know what's best for you x x

Re: Happy with your size?
Hi, I'm hoping to book my BA early next week for mid march. At my consultation the PS said he recons anything between 360 and 410cc will be good for me. I just told him I'd rather be bigger than smaller since I've read so many ladies say they wish they'd gone just one more size bigger! PS said that was very useful for him to know - will hopefully mean I'll be satisfied with the result.x

What dress size are you? I'm only a size 8 and D is the biggest I'll go.

Hay hUn if you would like the girls to give you advise on sizing e.g what size you are & what size you could end up ( which is very hard to predict!) then have a look at the stats link here-
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It has everyone's frame size's , the pre & post op resulting size & implant placement & size so you could have a look & see what you think.
If you need more advise Hun then you could alway start a thread on size in the genral Aug section & Im sure the girls would be more then happy to help!

make sure thats what you really want. If youre a size 8 then youll be around a 30 band, and a 30D is equivalent to a 34B

Re: Happy with your size?
I LOVE THIS THREAD-Great idea! Okay-I also have days where I wish I went little bigger. I am 5'9" and 147lbs...when I am topless, or wearing a high neck shirt or sweater, I wish they were a little bigger . But..when I have a bathing suit top on, or bra, they look pretty damn big! When I did my rice test I was SO SURE I wanted 475CC, but when I got to my consult, 475 looked HUGE..I just couldn't seem to settle the implant to make a pocket for my boob to sit in so I could get the full effect, unlike the rice boob, where I could form a pocket for my boobie to sit it..Anway, I got REALLY NERVOUS that they would be huge, and against PS's advice (that it is RARE that women wish they were smaller versus women that are happy or wished they were bigger)-I decided to go smaller at last minute. Those 475's just looked like bazookas! :boobchick: Now I KNOW, They were probably the right size for me-but hey-I am still VERY happy, as it is a subtle difference, and I think a lot has to do with getting comfy with your new boobies, and wanting more. Besides, I am a Mama of a baby and 12 year old girl-neither of which need peeps staring at their Mom's boobs everywhere we go!-LOL  Great idea for topic-LOVE IT! XX

Nads..... I am due to have mine 21st April, I am 5ft 5 and 8st...
Surgeon offered me 285cc or 310cc overs.... I have opted for the 285cc as I want a full C cup, however Im worried that they will be too small?! So confused..... I want a cleavage!!! I see all these people regretting they didnt go bigger...

Re: Happy with your size?
hi little miss sunshine,
I've just been to my second consultation and tried 380, 420 and 460cc. i decided on the middle, 420's. That way i recon I'll be happy, knowing that I didn't get the smaller or bigger. hope my theory works!
did you see the two sizes of implants you were offered? perhaps if you are not sure and there wasn't a big difference, go for the bigger. I've been told by surgeons not to worry to much about the cup size, more if you are happy with the size and shape.
Good luck deciding!xx

Re: Happy with your size?
I'm gonna wait till my boobs have settled before I vote but right now I'm very satisfied. I do not wish to have gone bigger. I'm wearing a DD right now but I don't know what they'll be when I fluff. Hopefully a D but they look like a fine size for me. I'm utterly grateful.

Yes I tried both, there wasnt much of a difference in them! I just dont want it to be very obvious I have had them done......
But concious that everyone seems to get boob greed so mabe I should opt for the bigger!!
Decisions decisions...... I should be more decisive like you! xxx

Re: Happy with your size?
that's a great question but so hard to answer.. I would say that I am happy with my size, my surgeon knew what he was doing and they are proportionate to my body, and I'm an active person so I think I couldn't have gone bigger without having to wear 3 bras.lol.....but....boob greed hits me every now and then and wonders if I would have been happier a little bigger ;)

Shellymae...
Its great to get the opinion of someone who has actually had it done! I have chosed 285cc overs, but my PS offered 310cc as an alternative. Like yourself, I like to keep fit and so dont want them to be too big getting in the way! But i see almost EVERYONE gets boob greed, so perhaps I choose the bigger option.
Just scared of waking up on the 20th April thinkg "oh myyyyy god what have i done there HUGE" !! xx

Re: Happy with your size?
From what I've been told there's not a huge diff in size when your talking 25cc, if your surgeon thinks you can pull it off then deff think about it. My PS offered me 310 as well, that's actually what I chose to begin with and he said with getting a lift I will get the same effect with the 280 and I'll have to trust him :) I did, and they're exactly what I asked for :)
Good luck!! :)
Good luck!! :)

Re: Happy with your size?
Hi LMS - 25mls (ccs) is very, very small - check it out by pouring 25mls of water into a saucer and check the depth - then remember that this depth is spread out all over the breast area, not just the base.
