Worried I won't be happy with size

I'm starting to really worry that 385's won't be big enough for me :( I always wear 2 padded bras an when I went for sizing appointment it didn't look that different so Im worried I won't see a difference in clothes & be disappointed. I tried on 410s at the appt and much preferred them to the 385s but surgeon won't put them in cos he thinks there will be risk of complication which I totally understand I just can't stop worrying that I'm spending all this money n will still be at square 1! :( xxx

You'll be spending all that money to chuck away all that padding and to be able to undress and see a nice pair of boobs looking back at you hun.

Risking complication just for bigger boobs would be the worst thing you could consider lovely. If you go against a surgeons advice your aftercare probably wouldn't cover you and you could end up having to spend a lot more than you are right now hun.

Its just pre-op jitters.... Most of us get them on the run up to our BA, but you'll be fine babe. Honestly, looking at a nice pair of boobs in the bathroom mirror makes every penny worth while babe. Xx

hi lovely, i have been up and down like a yoyo regarding my size, ask cookie lol lol

i had 360cc unders and yes when i have clothes on i can sometimes look like i did pre op sometime look bigger but you know what its all boob, no padding its my boobies!!!! and when im naked well i have freaking boobs haha

I promise you will not be wasting your money

Ah hun you'll be fine with size! I was told max I could have was 330 and when I tried it on I didn't like it so expressed to surgeon I really didn't want that big...with hindsight now with 325 I wish I had asked if it was poss to go bigger!

Booby greed gets us all! It is lovely to look down and know that what I see is just my boobs and not padding and when I take my bra off my boobs will still be attached lol. You will get a fab size with what your having hun xx

what are your stats, i had 360cc and ended up 2 cup sizes bigger than i expected but we are all diff and you will prob be very surprised what you end up with xx

i'm 5'4 9stone7 (hoping to get down to 9stone by the op tho) and 34a :( I read somewhere that a 34 back it takes you 150cc to go up a cup size which works out at a 2.5 cup size increase for 385cc :/

Comparing yourself to others isn't going to help hun as you can have the same stats but end up a completely different size to them...its strange i know but you'll never look the same as those people.
Also just think about it as instead of having to wear two bras full of padding....you can wear one bra and know that its you filling it! You'll have boobies! dance

you may not think it'll make much difference but it will babe x

well im around 8 and a half stone and 5ft 7 and i had 360cc unders and not high profile allergan natrelle

I asked for a full c small d and the surgeon said at the time i should achieve this and that the biggest implant i could have was the 360cc

i started of 32nothing could wear a 34 in some places came out in a 34d bra that got tight and i went to a 36d then a 34dd and now im either in a 34dd or 32e sports bra

but we are all diff you could measure smaller or larger dont be down hearted, you will get a good size the implant you are having is a good sized implant!!

have you showed your surgeon pics of what you want to achieve xx

I agree with everyone else you cant compare sizes to other people, i was told it can depend on yr ribcage size too to how the end result will be, i was a 34A and had 475 high profile i now measure a DD or sometimes a E but so many others have ended up alot bigger than that with 475.
I would say listen to your surgeon as they know wot there talking about, you will be so pleased to throw out yr padded bras, i bet you will end up loving them Worried I won't be happy with size 1978086825

suzi my surgeon thinks i measure a bit bigger with a smaller implant cause my ribcage bows outwards, something he really couldnt tell too much until he was in there putting my implants in, before i had my op he did say he thought that might be the case but he also said people have ribcages that bow inwards a little

amazing how we are all very diff eh xx

It is, we can be the same height, size and shape yet your structure inside can be very different! I never noticed this before but my surgeon kindly pointed out that i have slight pigeon breast! My chest bone bows outwards which has made my options a little more complicated!
The key thing here is to trust your surgeon anyway...they know what they're doing and if you show them pictures of what you want to achieve then that can help them to work out what implant size will look best x

ah man knowing my luck I have inward bowing ribs! I know everyones different and that's why i'm trying my hardest to ignore the little voice in my head which is comparing everyone! But I think I've been on here so much I've subconsciously taken in everyones stats and outcomes and it's making me doubt everything :( I'm going to email my nurse now anyway and ask what size sports bra I should buy xx

I've just done rice boobs and am even more gutted now. I think the size was OK - but I've read on here rice boobs look bigger than the actual BA and nurse already warned me about loosing size with unders (altho I know some people say this isn't true) Ugh. ... I measured myself with the rice boobies in for a rough guide and it calculated to be 34D. I know this is a massive improvement on 34a but then I also read everywhere that fake boobs look smaller than they measure... I'm starting to hate my new boobs before I've even got them... :'(

Did you try the implants in a sports bra at your consultation?
When i made my rice boobs i tried them on in a sports bra and tshirt then took some pics and they looked really small to me, i then went back to see my surgeon as i was worried about size and when i tried the implants in the sports bra and tshirt they looked bigger...so maybe go back and look at the implants again and try them on? X

Yeah I tried the implants on last week. She let me try on the next size up which I preferred so much but my surgeon won't take me higher than 385cc :( i'm just trying to be rational about it but I can't help feeling so worried !!

385 is a decent size hun; im only having 300 in leftie & 330/360 in righty and i should be looking at a d/dd which id be happy with.
I think you need to think of the positive change that this is going to make to your confidence and life, wouldnt you rather have something than nothing? Your surgeon has said the limit your body can safely take hun and your letting your obsession with size ruin what should be an exciting time for you.
I honestly think you'll end up with a good pair and you can give them a boost with a push up bra...i no u don't want to have to rely on bras still but it'll be one bra making the most of what will be your new boobs instead of wearing 2 bras to make it look like you have boobs if you get me?
I wish i could magic your negative thoughts and worries away x

thanks hun. I know you're right, everything you're saying is what I've been saying to myself. and i'm **naughty word** myself off as well by being this negative. I've been so excited, it's only the past few days I've suddenly been feeling like this. Must be super early pre op jitters!

I'm not going as big as I would like due to size limitations so I totally sympathise but two things I wouldnt risk are complications and my boobs feeling really fake.... Having implants that fit your size is totally the right thing to do and in a way we are lucky the decision is out of our hands because I'd never sleep if I had to choose between 2 sizes THG told me I could have 300 or 340 and I'd find one too small and one too big regardless and left me with that... So glad James is left with the decision and I may have booby greed but I can't possibly have regrets about size xx

yes littlewellies you are right! I had consultations with mya and thg and both surgeons said I could go up to 410. However the surgeon I saw with transform said no bigger than 380 but didn't emphasize however when I saw Mr Berry he explained the reasons why I shouldn't go bigger than 385 so I *KNOW* I'm doing the right thing... I'd rather be a D cup with great boobs than an E cup but with saggy, stretch marked boobs. I just can't help that small part of my brain that is overriding everything rational and just being greedy! xx
