Hey girls, i had my drains removed friday and the left one was stubborn to get out and was agony. It felt stuck and in really deep. The right one was fine. Ever since my left boob has been very sore and it feels like its gushing/moving when i use my left arm or walk about. My right boob feels fine, no wierd feelings or pain at all. Do u think they could of damaged it when they took the drain out? Im really panicking as every day i hope i'll wake up and it will stop the sloshing about feeling but im 5 days po today and its not improving at all. Just want in to stop moving cos surely it wont heal if implant is moving :( xx

its fine hun, the gushing sound /feeling is completely norma, plenty of girls experience this. The implant willl be able to settle, if your implant is moving, you need to make sure you dont move round to much so it has chance to adhere to the pocket. My implant moved for two weeks!! i could feeel it sliding around, so i was extra carefull and made sure my bra was supportive enough, and now it doesnt move.
Sounds like your doing just fine to me babe xx Hug

Thanks Jen. Gosh 2 weeks is a long time, did you change your bra and then it stopped or just stop on its own? Im swapping between an asda sports bra and an asda total support (that does hold em tight but its so uncomfortable!) maybe i should wear it more. I'm nt moving too much, just slobbing in front of the tele really! Although i have been washing up and walking the dog (only 5 mins) It almost feels like theres fluid all around the implant and its just floating about! Eeww xx

It's completely normal what you are experiencing hun. Even though drains get rid of a lot of swelling, you will still have some, probably a bit more swollen in the boob that was difficult to get the drain out of. This will be causing the sloshing sound. Eventually is will be reabsorbed into your system. Remember it's two different operations, one on each boob. So they will heal differently for a while. I'm sure you'll notice the sloshing going soon. Then you have lots of other weird feeling to look forward to lol. I hope your dog doesn't pull on the lead.
