leftie pain
ok so I know its normal to have varying pain, but from day 1 I have had absolutely no pain in my right, not even soreness. my left however is rather painful, intense stinging when I take a deep breathe or any movement etc. Is this normal? day 4 and im suffering mainly dizzyness and headaches and nausea, have stopped meds incase theyre making me feel worse.
Such a shame they couldn't have been both like my rightie, this wuld have been a breeze. Equally I feel for you girls that have this leftie pain in both ;(

Re: leftie pain
Aww Hun xx it's normal to have different feeling/pain in each boobie, you have to remember that it is 2 seperate operations and may just be that leftie suffered more trauma during your op! I suffered with headaches aswell, are you drinking plenty of water? Being slightly dehydrated can cause headaches, I think the GA can too xx hope you feel better soon x

Re: leftie pain
Its possible the swelling on leftie is pressing on a nerve hun which could explain why it hurts when you move that side or when breath in and this is very common hun. It does get better as the swelling subsides but if it hasn't settled by the time you go for your 1st wound check do be sure to make the clinic nurse or surgeon aware babe and have it noted.
You're right to stop the meds if you're feeling unwell babe. They do have an adverse effect on many of us and although they're great pain killers, often the trade in for the sickness just isn't worth it.
You can still take paracetamol though for the pain babe. This shouldn't make you feel unwell and will help.
It will take a day or two for the meds to go through your system so you'll start to feel better soon babes. Xx

Re: leftie pain
At one of my consultations this month i was told that sometimes one side hurts more than the other (normally the more dominant side) because your using it more to open doors etc...Dont know if that may be why but thought ild add that in!
Hope you start to feel better :) xx
