I'm ok in myself, but still no money. I've let him know that I've still not got it and he has said he really isn't happy with the bank and he is sorting it right now. Fingers crossed. He is gonna let me know what's going on so I can call Mybreast and let them know.

I'm frantic that my op will end up cancelled or postponed :-(

Its a very strange turn of events?? have you spoken directly with your bank, letting them know your expecting a large sum of money being deposited into your account anyday?? its horrible because its one other thing to be stressing out about which im sure you dont need! i hope you get it sorted soon xx

Yes Laura, I've spoken to my bank. They apparently can't see anything that is going to come into the account (not that they can't see if I have anything coming in, they just can't see on anyone's accounts apparently). They said they can only see it once it is in the account, but then I would know it was there if it was already there!!! lol

As far as I'm aware it is a F up with my friend's bank. Either that or he has only just got the money together and has been making excuses until now, but I guess I'll never know either way.

I'm gonna text him again in a bit and see how it's going with his bank.

Tasha - The money has left his account, it left his account last Tuesday, and he won't be able to lay his hands on ANOTHER £6500. So we have to get this mess sorted out. But I guess if he does get the money back from his bank then I'll ask him if he could go into a Santander and put it straight into my account. To be honest I hadn't thought of that, but I'll ask him if he can do that. Thanks hun xx

Rach - is there any chance he sent it to the wrong account number and someone elses account?

Starsfade I've given him my account number 3 times so I doubt it was his error. But the cashier could have entered the number wrong so yes it could have gone to the wrong account.

But he is sorting it and I've suggested he gets them to refund it and then goes in branch and gets the cash out then goes to my bank and pays it direct to my account. He agreed so it just needs sorting now

Eek what a stress bomb for you. It will get sorted though hun - I'm sure and they wont have time to fill your slot hopefully so your op can still go ahead!

they do send it to the wrong bank sometimes, one time we had £500 put in our account and we just left it alone and then got a letter through from the bank saying it was an accident and they were going to remove it, and they did, a family friend also had £37000 put in their bank by accident!!! wtf?! fingers crossed itll all work out

Hi august girls.... I am now too an August buddie. 19th is my day with Harley Street. Havong 340 unders (I think). But not sure on profile? I am 5'10, 10.5 stone and currently a 36B (small B though). Been buying all sorts of sizes sports bra's today! lol. How long before I should be scaredto do think!

my little countdown timer is what gets me through these long days of waiting! and when i wake up at these silly times in the night with nightmares about every possible outcome i can see the days ticking down! exhaused by it all! started on the arnica and vit c, been putting cocoa butter on religiously! its making things seem more real!!!

I've got 18 days, and still not got the money from my friend. I'm really really freaking out!!

Yesterday evening he said that the bank were "tracking it". I'm not sure if that means they are in the process of getting it back, or if it means that they really have no clue where it went so are trying to find it (but the phrase suggests to me the latter unfortunately )

I've text him this morning but not heard anything yet.

I'm just so so worried!!

The arrangement we had was that I would pay deposit of £250 (which I have), he would pay £6500 and I would then pay the remainder of the £6980 which is £230. I've got the £230 sitting in my savings account but don't want to pay it now, even though it would show MyBreast that I really am trying to get it sorted, if he doesn't manage to get the money and MyBreast end up cancelling it, because then I'll lose £480 rather than just £250. Do you see what I mean??

Why the flaming heck couldn't things just go smoothly for once!!! lol

Yep totally see what you mean hun, do not pay the remainder as losing the 250, is bad enough. I cant believe the bank have caused you so much trouble. Lets hope they give you an answer today?

No. I keep bursting into floods of tears so will be no use phoning them. I tried explaining it to my mum and couldn't finish cos I was crying too much!!

I will call them at the end of the day when I know what's what

Well he was putting the money direct into my account, because that way if his wife checks the bank account all she will see is my name, and as he has money going in and out to various people for stuff to do with his business then he can easily explain it (even though it is such a large amount, he can still say it is business stuff). Plus on a bank transfer to my account it would say my name, and if he takes cash out and put it into my account then it will only say cash on his statement, but if he paid MyBreast direct by either cheque or card payment then it would say "MyBreast" (or I think it is actually "MyAesthetics") on his statement and he wouldn't be able to explain that to his wife as business!!!

So unfortunately him paying them direct isn't an option.

Besides, until this mess gets sorted out he doesn't have the £6500 to pay them anyway because he sent it to me but his bank lost it!!!

I just came back home from my last appointment with nurse,2 weeks before my BA surgery,with empty pockets(no money ),but happy and ...........scared ......and excited!.....i've been told by the nurse to get 36e and 36ee sports bra!wow!she said that i'll be big,but that will change after few weeks when my implants settle down.:)....
