Well done to all those who have already had their ops everyone seems to be doing really well and it's really helped to be able to read other peoples experiences I don't feel I'm walking into the unknown as much now. Only 10 days left for me and for some reason I don't feel nervous or scared yet I don't really feel like it's happening yet I guess I'm still waiting for reality to sink in x

Donna thats how i felt literally right up until the last minute. I stayed calm and relaxed the whole time as well! Nothing to be worried about what so ever! Enjoy it and it will be over before you know it xx

Hows everyone else getting on with the healing? sports bras, scars etc? im itchy and sore and really hating my sports bras already! The big plasters i have on over my sutures are massive and on really tight they hurt! Im just trying to find somethin to moan about probably. But its hard to sleep because they get tighter when i lie down and the sports bra just rubs... i need a good sleep cos im sooo tired!! im guna scratch myself senseless in a minute lol

Good luck today Macmama and missy77!!

I am seven days today, and feeling ok, looking a little more normal too. I still feel tight and a bit tender but not the same swelling and discomfort as before.

Oh did a slight run for the bus today, ouch!! not recommended, I actually grabbed my boobs when I did it too, hahaha, hope that brought a smile to someones face! The bumpy bus ride was painful too. Note too self, stick to trains with new boobs!!

it will be here before u know it... enjoy sleeping on ur front while u still can lol..take the arnica, vit c, dont drink, smoke follow everything u get told to do! take the pre med (if its not offered, ask) rest up as much as possible and take all pain relief even if you feel ok! You will love them hun good luck xx

Oh I am definitely making the most of sleeping on my front, and sleeping in general! I can't sleep on my back or sitting up so will be a tiring few weeks! In less than 2 weeks I'll have fabulous new boobies :-D so long awaited! Xxx

i slept pretty much on my side last night, so feeling the better for it today! and now not taking any meds :-)

Can I ask, Who is actually buying front fastening bra's? my first time I just used normal sports bra's but since there seems to be a lot of recommendation on the front fastening ones.... I have plenty sports bra's but would any of you's recommend the front fastening ones?

I have heard some surgeons dont like these?

Im not buying any front fastening bras, my hosp give me 2 sports bras for after my BA but i dont know what they look like. I would guess theyre just normal back fastening ones?! I never thought about it! xxx

Congratulations Missy! Glad you are happy.

I don't think you really need to get front fastening, because you can always do them up at the front and rotate them, no need to reach behind (which does not feel nice!)

Hi again girls.... I am totally gutted that i might have to leave August and become a September buddie.My op is booked for next Friday, but not been feeling well and the doctor says i have 2 viruses! Dont do things by halves...one virus is obviuosly not enough! the doc says unless i have a miraculous recovery there is not much chance i will be able to have my op next week. I cant even move it a week later as i cant get that week off work for recovery. I am not a happy bunny August Buddies! - Page 23 683465

Had my one week check up yesterday everything is fine, had the plasters ripped off the scars ouch...lol.

i can now shower just not soak the scars, the scars have some glue residue on them yuk.

the boobs are looking fab im really pleased with them will try and find some spare time to to an album.

They are a lovely shape but still high up and currently being squashed in to a 36 f sports bra which feels more like a compression bra at the mo (even tho its a comfy bra - poss needed next size up but tey only go to an F) ARRR WELL at least they not bouncing about all over the place.

they are not a massive as some people think they are going to be for 700cc.
