NickiH wrote:I'm pretty sure that having this done will make me feel much better about myself. I have never been happy with my small bust and always contemplated surgery but i was never really in a position to get it done. After having two children, i absolutely hated my bust and since plucking up the courage to leave my partner (was very unhappy), i decided to do this for myself. My family and friends are all very supportive so i am very lucky.
In relation to psychological benefits, i think that you've got to look at the reasons as to why you're having surgery. I just know that i will feel more confident about myself and that can only be a good thing. Especially as i'm now free and single again! haha
Hi Nicki
I've never been happy with my boobs either. As I was always one of the tallest and biggest at school, I always thought I'd probably develop into quite a curvaceous type, but no such luck!
I'm hoping that after my boob job, I won't feel so down about myself and that I will have more confidence. Not a day goes by where I don't feel something negative about the way certain bits of me look, so I'm hoping to see an improvement in the way I feel.
Sounds like you're definitely going to have fun now you're single. I'd be happy enough to take my bra off in front of my bf and let my new boobs out instead of always hiding them away!! I think he'd be happy with that too. LOL.

yay!! excited much!?!? you are going through mybreast too aren't you?? I'm going with stephen hamilton in st johns wood woopahhh!!
yes hun I'm going through Mybreast too. A little more expensive than most places, but I'm happy at the price I got in the end, especially as I'm having the gorgeous James McDiarmid at Cheltenham Nuffield hospital.
I don't know if its just me, but having been on consultations with others (mya, transform, rubicon) and meeting my patient adviser/care coordinator with each of them before seeing the surgeon, it does seem a little weird to me that I've never met my pa with Mybreast. I've spoken to her 3 or 4 times on the phone but not met her. Is that normal for Mybreast?
Re: August Buddies!
Oh right so it isn't a Mybreast thing to only have contact with your pa over the phone.
I had my consultation with James at his clinic in Cheltenham and I'm not having a second consultation, just going to the hospital for pre-op on August 2nd then op on August 15th so I doubt I'll meet my pa at all.
I didn't have the macom bras pushed at me, but thanks to this site I did find the 15% off by quoting Mybreast so have bought one and am so glad I did cos its so comfy its unreal!!

Re: August Buddies!
I'm having my BA at Riverside, Brentford with Mr Khan on the 14th Aug. I'm 5'3 size 8/10 and 8 1/2 stone.
I've been stressing about the size as so many girls on here seem to be having larger sizes, really don't want to go through all this to end up a B cup

Hi missy77, the days seem to be clicking down so quickly now!
I've gone from worried and nervous to really excited since finding this forum. learnt so much and it has really put my mind at rest.
Have you had your pre op yet? what did it involve? xx

Re: August Buddies!
I am due to have my BA on 23rd August 2011. I am still unsure of how big/small to go? I originally wanted a large C, but since visiting my surgeon and trying on 350cc (would take me to a large C) I am unsure.
I have booked a 2nd consultation to try on smaller implants.
My measurements are:
Weight: 8 stone 3 pounds
Height: 5 foot 4 inches
Body Size: 8
Breast Size: 32A
I don't want to look too top heavy and want a natural looking breast size for my shape and size.
Is there anyone else there with similar measurements to me and has had 350cc
Thanks guys x

Re: August Buddies!
Hi starsfade, profiles weren't discussed with me either hun, just putting my trust in my surgeon (brave or stupid only time will tell lol)
I was quoted £3695 but last week I emailed my co-ordinator and simple asked for a discount as I found out I had to take unpaid days off work after the surgery and it was eating into my budget. She sent me out a new invoice with a £200 discount. so now £3495!! every little helps and it certainly paid to be a bit cheeky and ask!

Hi Chezza welcome to August buddies
My surgeon has said 300cc will take me to a full C! I also want a natural look but don't want to regret not going big enough! the running theme on here is that most girls wished they had gone bigger, its such a hard decision
xx
