Re: August Buddies!
I think I'll end up a 32D - which is what i wanted. I'm wearing a 34C sports bra atm but that is only due to slight swelling at the sides and is already a bit looser today - less that 48 hrs post surgery!
Sweetcarol and Jomcm: I was wearing 32bs before op, am 5 9 and size 10 (sometimes 8 in dresses) and have had 300ccs high profile overs.
I will try a 32D sports bra in a few days but have a feeling i'll be a 32 very full C or D (I reckon D though)
Jom? You are having Mr nathan too? Cool? Are you undecided about size still? I was very undecided between 260 and 300 because I really didnt want to look too big or fake. Now my only concern is the projection because they look very fake atm but I am literally less than 48 hours post op (!) I love the size and they genuinely look the same as they used to when wearing padded bras when I've got clothes on. i reckon when the swelling goes down and they drop a bit in a few weeks (hopefully) and soften (hopefully) they will be perfect. The size and shape of everyone elses seems to change radicaly over the first year even so its really hard for me to know for sure but I'm still glad I've got 300s. All that money and stress and waiting and expectation to have boobs, slightly smaller thatwhat you wanted is not worth the risk...Can i ask what height/dress size you are?
Missy Riverside is fine. You'll find it a breeze hun. How exciting! You're getting fairly big uns eh? ;-)
Rach so so sorry to hear that the money didnt come through in time.
You'll get it somehow and get your dream boobies! Stay strong my darling xxxx

Re: August Buddies!
girls....looking for sports bra is so annoying!!...I've been told to look for 36e or 36ee but whateva I try is tide under my breasts or not really confortable. So I've bought 4 different bras.2 from M&S 38e(£22) and 36f(£18) and one from Primark 40DD(£10) !!...and I just ordered one more from John Lewis 38F(£36+express delivery)!!.....When I asked the nurse on my pre-op day,she couldn't tell me what size I will end up,so I'm guessing at the moment....as long as I keep my receipts I'll be fine, but this is a very expensive business by the way!!

Re: August Buddies!
Hey ladies! My breasticles are now a whole week old and I frickin love them!! Just wondered if anyone is getting upper back ache? It's really sore and means I can't walk too far without sitting down. Still tender around the sides and incisions which I guess is expected... I'm bk to have my dressing tape off on Wednesday which will be 10days post op so I will be asking questions then. Still have very little bruising which is nice.
Missy77 - I found a really nice shape bra in Tesco, it's a sports bra but doesn't look crop top shape, it looks nice under clothes too as gives a bit of cleavage. They're only £6 and go up to bigger sizes, plus the under band part is comfy. I got 2 super supportive shock absorbers buts they are just too tight!
I'm off to a christening today so god knows whether my dresses will fit over my new bigger boobies!? Do you think they'll notice if I'm in a hoodie?! ;-) ha!
Oh one other question, do you get boob pain when you first stand up and first lay down? I'm guessing it's them settling each time but it's getting a bit boring now... Need to get bk to the gym so bad, feel so lazy but I don't want to risk anything!!
Thanks ladies x

Re: August Buddies!
Thank you for the compliments ladies :-)
Laura, I can't walk far either! Kind of pleased to read that it's not just me who's struggling... Keep getting backache too and the only relief is laying on the floor. Currently trying out a crop top instead of a bra which is heavenly compared to my sports bra.
I have a wedding Thursday and my birthday drinks Saturday so really praying for more improvement on my soreness this wk...

Hi Lucy,
Your avatar pic looks amazing. I'm having my op done by Dr Carver on 11th October, 345cc teardrop partials. Can't wait for my boobie day!
How have you found your experience and the progress ur boobies have made since your op?
Xx

Re: August Buddies!
Oh thanks girls, it's really nice to hear you like them because they haven't been let out in public other than in a horrid flattening sports bra and I wasn't sure how they looked compared to other people... That photo was taken in my new bikini which had to be strategically placed to avoid my incision tapes! Think I'm ready for Miami in October now! Ha!
Suzie - I really can't recommend Mr Carver enough, everything about it was excellent. The consultation, care, nurses, hospital and most importantly - the result!! I was a bit apprehensive about teardrop in case they looked droopy but I really like how they look and friends assumed they were round. I won't lie, I'm a week post-op and I'm very achey in my bk and chest. Pain is bearable but you need to prepare your home and expectations of what you'll be able to do. Reaching up high is uncomfortable along with lifting anything a bit heavy. Also I can't change the super king bed duvet because it's too much... Each day I feel better though and I get impatient so guess I can't really moan about my quick progress in just a week :-) x

Re: August Buddies!
Oh Laura sorry to hear your in a bit of discomfort today, it might be an idea to go to a 36 but as you say its hard to know how tight these bras are supposed to be in order to give the right support! I have tried my sports bras on and they feel tight around the band pre op so hate to think what they will be like after!!
I know it's early days but are you happy with the 300's?
