loss of volume in overs? Empty loss of volume in overs?

Post by LiL SIS 16th June 2011, 7:53 am

Hi girls

I have heard lots of girls say that in 'unders'.. expect to lose a certain amount of volume after the implant is in your body.. and to go a size up from what you actually want.. but what happens with 'overs'? do you lose any volume with them?

I was looking at getting 350cc's.. but might look at the 375cc's. i have just looked at the mentor website, and the sizing is only slightly different.

350cc - diam = 11.7cm .... proj = 4.8cm
375cc - diam = 12cm .... proj = 4.8cm

maybe they will give me more cleavage without actually increasing in size?

go for the bigger size hun its only 25cc differance so wont change your cup size as its usually 100c to 150cc to go up a cup size depending on our size etc. x

jen86, do you get any muscle distortion with having partials? i think thats the only worry i would have if i was to go with 'unders'

i have only had one consult.. and he didnt give me a choice, but he didnt say i couldn't have unders either. he just said he thinks overs will be nice.
i think i didn't explain what i wanted properly though. i said i wanted some fullness back, after breast feeding 4 babies. i didn't explain that i want them to look very natural.. so i don't know if he thought i want the posh spice look.. lol
Im also worried about the size.. i know i will be happy with anything better than what i have now.. but will i be bummed that i could of been a bit bigger.. really wish i had a magic boobie wand.. lol

with yours being unders.. when you have no bra on do they hang down slightly or do they stay exactly where they are?
(still feels a little weird asking people so many questions about their boobs.. lol)

If your surgeon has recommended overs to give the look you want, then they should be the most natural look for you. Unders are used when the person doesn't have any breast tissue to hide the implant. All BA boobs will stay where they are, they dont hang. They will have a natural breast shape and be very perky. Both over or under with the same size implant should give you the same size result. You will not have a difference in cup size with either.

Sometimes the ps suggests overs when you are a bit droopy but not enough to need a lift. I never has a choice with mine, partial unders are what my ps prefers and I was happy with that choice.

have you found that they (overs) have softened up yet? more comfortable in your skin? or are they still quite firm? and do you feel that they are bigger/smaller or same size as when you first got them?
