have seen surgeon today who said if i have implant under muscle i could get double bubble as my boobs are bit saggy,can anyone explain what this is please. x x

i think its when the implant settles further down than the natural crease of your breast. so like where your boob finishes theres another bit with the implant. heres a link with a ladys pics for you to see! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I had to have overs for the same reason Hun I got told of my ps if I had under's I would get double bubble and my ps showed me pics and told me exactly what double bouble was . And that it would be best for me to have overs . Look at the link above that kirstern has put on that will show u xxx

I asked about the DB at my last visit and they said it's really only a worry with saline...

Knxgrl great info, glad you put this out there.. this and the C.C. scares me I have done some looking on the internet about this today lots of good info!! They (several sites) say that more overs get this then unders I was happy to read that.. And Unclean hands and implants as well as tools is another cause of this. Then there is the body rejecting a foreign body as well.

agreed Lookoutgirl! in the morning i'm going to my allergist for a RAST test bc i have an allergy to either latex or the adhesive that is typically used with latex and/or bandages. making sure i'm not going to have any "rejection" issues with the silicone.... 95% certain not but if there's anything strange that comes up I'll post a new topic to share info. :) never heard of anyone being allergic to silicone (FYI THE SALINE IMPLANTS ARE ENCASED IN A SILICONE SHELL) but i'm allergic to weird things like bandaides, surgical tape, and fire ants of all things lol - so I'll happily post if I learn anything worth sharing :)

i think i have slight db, its only really obv in pictures...i ws quite saggy before, n was advised a straight forward ba, no uplift, n in had [partials. i wasnt told of the risks of db, but i think i may have it. i have a check up booked for july so hopefully my surgeon will think it will settle over time..mmhhh shrug

I never knew what double bubble was til now... this is such a learning curve!!

You got me worried now...I had a lot of skin b4 and had partial unders..I will have 2 keep an eye out 4 this as I BF 4 SO long I hope I don't get it shrug

Mine were a little saggy too great another stress :doh:

dont worry hun, it can develope latr or earlier, but mine came after a week! just enjoy ur new boobs, n worry bout it if n when it happens. As it goes, mine is only visible in pics, i still love m boobs n they r waaaay better then before x
