Well my ps told me not to drive for 4 WEEKS!!!!

I couldnt handle that so i tried to drive 7 days p.o and found it pretty difficult to get in reverse, 5th gear and hurt to put my seatbelt on.. so i left it another week and now im fine dance

everyones different tho just see if you can get in all gears first and make sure it doesnt hurt and you should be fine?

I was told not to drive for 2 weeks, but I had unders so I dont know if that makes a difference? I tried to drive after 9 days I think and quickly went home because I found it uncomfortable to steer and shift... it would be dangerous if I had to move quickly too... So if you do drive make sure you feel comfortable, if you dont just dont do it, you could end up wrecking your car or your new boobs.

It's down to your insurance cos some say you aren't covered for a week or more after a GA.
I checked mine though and they said they didn't have any rule like that and I could drive when i wanted, I drove from day 4 post op and was fine, but I do drive auto so didn't have any gears to deal with. good luck! x

I bet your soo excited to get them bandages off!!
When i first had mine done i found that everything i put on made them dissapear lol! I went to primark and brought about 30 tight fitting tops :boobstick: now they are looking good in my tops haha!

Yeah i hated that part! How do u find sleeping on your back?!
That was pretty difficult for me! im getting used to it now. i think im going to be too scared to sleep on my front when im finally allowed lol!

I wasn't told anything re driving but I know insurance companies don't like you driving too soon. I drove small journeys after 7 days and although it was uncomfortable I was ok. I found the seatbelt hurt :-(

You need to be able to do an emergency stop before you can drive again if you don't think you would be able to do that then its best to wait abit longer. x

I drove on day 7, my insurance gave me the go ahead, and I got a note from my GP to say I had surgery and was exempt from wearing a sealtbelt for 4 weeks.
I have a Jeep, so it was a bit hard to handle, driving straight was ok, but I find it very hard to reverse.
Have only done short runs, I live in the sticks so need to see other forms of human life.

Hey hun. I'd say no as all the big car insurance companies don't cover u for at least a week after a GA!

Check that first! As it could be void!xxx

I would think you are ok. Although going quite far will probably hurt. Short journeys will be fine. I found driving like a learner helped ie feed the wheel when turning. Reverse is a 2hands thing

Ooooo didn't know that you could GP to write an exemption from seatbelt wearing. I might have to ask my GP about that after my boobs are done!!!
